Carton Brewing (January 2017)

Just went to Canal's at lunch and they have it in. Not sure about Roger Wilco, didn't have time to drive up there.

 

"Just sold out" per phone call about an hour ago (see my whiney post above)

 

Go to Carton and get a growler.

 

If everyone posting about this Canals lives near it, we all live nearly 2 hours away from Carton.

 

When people say Canal's is sold out, which do they mean? ... anyone have suggestions for places to check in the Ephraim/Deptford area?

 

Oh wait you meant Roger Wilco. Still a chance with Canals then!

I'm stuck at work in the city, won't be able to get there until past seven. If I can convince my wife to head over you'll be racing her!

 

In his post he said he missed the can release. Meaning he was willing to go.

 

Anyone try Wilco in Pennsauken? I've never had luck getting Carton there but figured I'd ask. Seems to go within hours of arrival.

Just got a 4 pack. I can confirm that they still have some. Unless I got the last one.

 

I remember they used to get a few cases a month. Seems like they don't get nearly that amount anymore. Anyway I really don't want to keep repeating myself here but I called Roger Wilco and the guy said they sold out. Whether or not that is really the case, who knows?

I only say that because I called Canal's in Mt. Ephraim and they said they didn't have any. I needed some beer and was desperate so I figured I'd check out their selection anyway. Lo and behold, I was able to grab the last two (visible) 4 packs of Regular Coffee on my way back from working in Philly. When I called them earlier they said they didn't have any. Go figure. I guess it's easier to say "No" when you're on the phone. I think I'll still be fillin' up those growlers though, @DrStiffington

I might just be the happiest man in South Jersey....but I can say with absolute certainty I was the happiest man on the Black Horse Pike.

 

Do you know if it was the last two they had out or the last two they had period.

Trying to save myself the trip.

Yeah I haven't been this amped up for a beer in quite a while. Trying to adjust my expectations accordingly.

I really don't know, I didn't ask. They were the last two on the shelf. It's quite possible there was more in the back but as I said, I didn't ask. Sorry about that

 

Huh, Mt Ephraim said they didn't have any either and acted completely confused when I stopped by and asked about it...

 

Yea I'm pretty sure the staff either lie or don't have a clue and just say no. There's been a few times I called for boat and 077 and they've said they were out. I go in cause im curious and low and behold both are sitting in the fridge.

 

Just stopped by Carton and they had many cases of irregular coffee left for those that might live close by. Tasted the Churro version in the TR and it was tremendous
