Truth be told, little child hands are the best type to fit in through the plastic ring of the 4pack holder. So it's all those who don't have kids who are missing out on a pack mule.

I don't give a shit about kids at breweries one way or the other, but I'd love to see Monkish name a future can release Parking Lot Daycare.

 

For some reason, this is the argument that kind of wins me over.

Are we equating the DMV line to Monkish now? Most of us aren't at the DMV because we want to be.

 

Don't know about you, but I generally run down to my local government office when they bust out the tweet at 2pm about renewing auto registrations, playa. That's how we make nooooooise.

 

Now that would be me. Holy Sh!te. How bout a senior citizen discount of 25%?

 

the real problem here is that these parents are just grooming the next generation of hazebros. Imagine how much harder it's going to be to get beer in 15 years

In all seriousness though, as much as people can make the argument for why it's ok to bring kids to wait in line for beer for hours, it still seems pathetic to me. i can judge because I don't have kids

 

It's an errand that requires a lot of waiting. Use grocery shopping if you'd rather (unless your kid is a porker, then maybe that's fun for them). The kid really doesn't give a shit if it's a brewery, or the dmv, or going grocery shopping, or whatever. It's a boring waiting experience.

Also, are most people in that line because they want to be waiting in a line? I'm sure they'd much rather just walk up and get the cans without waiting, right? Hell, I'm more likely to be in a DMV line than a beer line these days.

 

Buying food for the kids/family? You really can't see the difference between buying food, going to the DMV and lining up for a can of beer?

 

The difference is one is a necessity. i think it is an odd choice for parents to make - sitting in a parking lot for hours vs any number of more enjoyable and fulfilling activities.

I hope Monks will install a "Guns" plaque at their brewery

 

The kids I've seen love playing with the rocks in the planter. So they got that going for them.

 

Does anyone still drink beer?
