Carton Brewing (January 2017)

Same thing happened to me. Guy was looking at me like I had 4 heads but then another staff member overheard and said "right on the shelf in the back". Guess it all depends on who you ask of who's there when your asking

 

Carton if you're listening, distribute beer to Cooks in Haddon Township! They are so much cooler about getting local beer and letting their customers know that they have it.

 

Gary's Bernardsville currently has some. Not sure how many are left though

 

Just cracked one for the first time ever. It's really tasty and certainly worthy all of the praise it has received. Another stellar job by Carton.

I love the idea of a pale coffee beers. I feel like a lighter malt base allows the coffee beans to shine so much more than a stout or porter or whatever. I had my first one when I was away in Arizona. If any of you happen to be out in Arizona check out Koffee Kolsch by Huss Brewing out of Tempe. Available at most QuikTrip stores. Very similar coffee flavor (tastes like a cold brew with milk and sugar) except obviously much much lighter ABV. If you guys enjoy this I think you guys would like that one too

I for one am happy you made it a mix. I probably would've skipped getting cans of Corretto given that I'm not a big fan of licorice or anise and just loaded up on Churro. But since it came in a fun mix pack, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like the Corretto, and almost more than the Churro. The licorice and anise flavors were very subtle (and not sharp) that blended well with the overall beer. Well done! I'm glad I didn't skip on this!

 

That was my take last year. Irish Cream sounded like a bad idea to me. Enjoyed it just as much as Churro. Looking forward to trying the Coretto

 

Did they happen to have any other Carton cans available?

 

It's been years now of people coming in asking for Carton cans. How have they not trained their staff to answer the question of whether or not they're in by now?

 

do we know what kind availability there is of irregular at the brewery still?

 

There was a decent bit and it wasn't crowded yesterday when I was there. I would speculate it might make it through today if its slow, but not much more if at all.

 

open till 8 tonight right? might have to shoot down

 

None that were on the self so I don't think there were, sadly.

 

I have no idea of the actual content but I don't drink any caffeine and am very sensitive to it and I can drink these beers with no ill effects so I would imagine it's fairly low. Hope that helps.

 

Everyone is freaking out over Regular and Irregular coffee cans and I'm just here waiting for S.S. Yirgacheffe again

 

I'm a HUGE fan of this beer. One of the best Coffee IPAs I've had. I tend to be a big fan of that coffee blend.

 

Regular Coffee is now on tap at Diamond Liquors in Hawthorne.
