Hoping to get to two more new local breweries who are opening in my area today, HiHo in Cuyahoga Falls and Wadsworth Brewing.....should be fun

In the meantime, there is Weed, Wicked Weed.....thanks to my lovely and thoughtful daughter for the gift of the beer and the proper glassware!

 

Good morning BAs! Another beautiful day (so far!) here in NW PA - got a little more than an inch of snow last night and this morning we've got blue skies and sun. I don't mind the snow or temperature when it's sunny. Today I revisiting this guy, and incidentally modifying my earlier review:



It's still not something I'll seek, but if it's the only thing on the beer menu I can always put down one of them.

Good morning and Happy Friday BA's! Hope everyone has something great planned for the weekend. I know I do ! Welcome to the 150th GotD Awards ...!!! First and foremost, THANK ALL OF YOU for making it possible, and still allowing me to be the crazy guy that I am! Alright, so today's awards be ever so slightly different. Sure there will be "the usual" , but the Staff has a little toast yet again to a familiar face. It's party time! Let's start today off with a bang! It's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

We're going to start off with the first ever Unbelievably Dedicated to the Cause Award (UDttC) presented to none other than, you guessed it @dcotom . We have all been...blessed, I believe is a good word, for this recent presentation of the 12 Days of Christmas followed by today's "Epiphany". Again, thanks my friend for making the extraordinary efforts to share first thing every morning, and closing out the season for us. Cheers!

And now on to the "regular" Glass of the Day Awards. I decided to be a little selfish today. we went with a trio of glasses that tug on my heart strings, so with that, I give you:

GotD: To a true Advocate and friend, thank you @tasterschoice62 for giving me a second opportunity to acknowledge this fine and proper flute ! We could all do a little more to Be Hoppy. Gas, Grass, or "Mass"...no one rides for free! Cheers and congrats!
2nd: I'm sure it's no secret to most of you by now that Modern Times is one of my favorites. By this beautiful and proper post, I assume that it may be one of @TrojanRB 's as well!
3rd: And finally, as a Star Wars fan, and as a musician going into my final performance this weekend, thank you @LongTaco15 for this Mikerphone post complete with the Millennium Falcon. It makes me smile .

next is Espressway from Two Roads. first time trying this, it's quite good! big big coffee and roasty flavors which is exactly what i look for in a coffee stout.

got my brother this vinyl for christmas, scientist might be my favorite dub artist of all time. for those that appreciate reggae/dub, this one is for you.

Long Trail Unearthed.

 

A Pirate 8.5, from United Dutch Brewers. Just out of curiosity. Nothing to do with Piraat from Belgium by the way.

Realy not as bad as you maybe would expect for 89 cents ( that's about 0,94 cents in American money) for a halve liter (almost 17 us fl oz) of 8,5% alcohol beer. Only reason I don't finish the whole can is that I Iike to have two or three more strong beers tonight.
