No can distro period. And yes, Pineal is delicious! My personal favorite of theirs thus far.

Agree 100%, everything from this release was amazing. Thoroughly happy I went cause it had been a while for me. Light that spills is amazing as well.

I am also a fan of Pineal. I really can't decide my favorite of Pineal vs. Alien Church as I type this message. They they are both excellent,

    Cheers!

@heavyspaghetti I too thought for a while the chairs were nonsense. The brewery though condones it and it is their release. I've changed my approach knowing this and I plan a day off work to make it early on random times, usually every 4-6 weeks, to make a release. While I think it's ridiculous that people threatened you over 1 spot in line that posed no danger to their allotment I can't say I agree whith what you did too. I can see how in others eyes you made the first tough guy move. Two wrongs don't make a right even if you don't agree with the way things are done.

Today's line hasn't even made it to the corner of the parking lot. Sleep in folks.

Yeah, i was certainly there to cause trouble and see how the brewery would handle it. And that's not a cool thing to do!

But my philosophy is pretty simple: don't make me wait in line behind people that aren't actually waiting in line.... because that's also not a cool thing to do. Especially considering that most people there spend thousands a year and promote the brand pretty hard.

Here's the thing, the people placing chairs are inside spending money as well. A chair or a body a spots a spot. It really isn't up to you to determine how it goes. If you don't want to wait I see two options, either don't wait or join the club, plop a chair and enjoy some food and beer like everyone else.

Look, I have no stake in this. I used to be upset about it to. I've resolved myself to it being the way it is and I've changed my approach to the release because it's their rules. Truthfully I see a lot of upside, especially considering I'm usually there with my 2 year old son, with not having to wait in line. Playing the card you played though, yeah, I just don't agree with that. You didn't have the right and those people had a right to be pissed.

Before anyone points it out, yes, I did one time say I would kick chairs out of my way but I never actually did it. I joined the chair squad in the end and just go less and get more when I go.

Here's the thing, you're dead wrong. They put out chairs and go to work.

Chef Bill's response to that side of my argument was that "70 % are here drinking and eating" either way, i still don't think it's fair that you get to be in two places at once. Either you are waiting in line or you aren't.

to HopBomb's point, if you don't like it, don't go, so i won't anymore. Wish they took feedback more seriously and were willing to improve the experience for us, but hopefully by continuing this discussion we can change things in the future

There's no denying that there's some that place chairs and then go back to work but the good majority of the chairs are people inside. if you've seen the inside of the fermentaria on can day it's fairly clear

Don't worry I have 100 different things I can do before standing in line for beer.

Thanks for the update, I took my time getting down there. Got there about 12:30, bottles in hand by 12:45. Barely enough time in line to lose feeling in my extremities.

I made my way through the line a few times once bottles moved to the bar. I have to imagine its sold out by now. Around 2:30 they had roughly 5 cases of Emptiness left.

I got emptiness around four well after they posted that it sold out on their instagram. Maybe they found a few more or something.

Eviscerated Pathway of Beauty is unreal. I went back for a 32oz growler today to sit on my remaining cans a bit longer. To me, it's in the conversation for the best DIPA they've ever produced.

I will never understand why beers like this, Technicolor Splender, Punge, etc. dont get the same hype as Milkshakes. I'm not complaining, because it makes securing these beers that much easier.

I'm not at work when my chair is there. So who's the they that makes me dead wrong? Was it the guys who I spoke to while I was there last time eating lunch along side me?

I love how people in this regional group will be the first to jump, on me at times, about how releases are run not being up to the person going. Yet, when it comes to precious Tired Hands all the internet tough guys throw that out the window whining about chairs in a line.

Agree with this totally, love me some Oblivex, Technicolor, Punge etc. Wish they would brew one of these on the regular and have the other option as a rotating beer.

Agree with this. While some of the Milkshakes, namely Double Mango, were amazing I must say Technicolor Splendor absolutely blows me away. I loved that beer but haven't been lucky enough to get cans of it yet.
