You still got to carry 50lbs of bottles with those. Just easier to get a roller bag at that point. Whole hell of a lot more convenient.

I bring bag 70 pounds of beer in each suitcase and it's fine, just prepare and bring towels and bubble wrap. use some cardboard to line the suitcase with and you're good to go.

Could be. All levels (including 4 bottles) are still listed as available. Makes me wonder if they have upped the number of tickets (I hope not!!).

Very true- I hope they haven't allowed more people in. I feel like it was comfortable for the most part despite the short alleys for lines that ended up snaking all over the place for the popular stuff.

More porta shitters, a handful more water stations and some more shade areas, but not more people!

They probably tried to sell the same amount of bottles as last year with less tickets by offering the 12 bottle deal to everyone. When the 12 bottle ticket didn't sell out they probably redid the math to sell a similar amount of tickets as last year while maintaining the same bottle count/production volume.

Probably the likely case, but I hope they don't fudge the numbers around. An extra 100-200 people would suck at the park.

I'd be fine with them offering the extras for sale at the brewpub if you show them your wrist band, or hell even public sale there and keep the fest under wraps.

Offer cash only extra purchases in a separate area of bottle pick up even. Offer it. They can stand in line( or no line ) and get extra bottles up to whatever amount they wish.

Never a line. I walked up and got some. Told people and still managed back less than 30 sec wait for another fill!

Admittedly I had maybe 10 tasters if it too. Bringing ziplocks if they bring it again!

I did basically the same thing....every time I walked by the booth, I would swing by and grab a glass before waiting in line for something else

It did seem like it would be a bit of a trek from downtown Tampa...do they have any plans to open a different location that serves food, aside from having a food truck?

I think it was also a rent issue. that place must have cost a fortune. I hear a rumor that they are looking at taking out of Tampa. Maybe Orlando (Disney Springs was mentioned. But again just rumor and speculation.

It would make perfect sense to put in Orlando somewhere.

If rent was an issue anywhere in Tampa then the Disney Springs location is absolutely nothing more than a rumor.

There is a big difference between being on the side of the street in Carrollwood and being in a place that 1000's of people both local and tourists flock to every day. To give you some insight the Irish Bar Ragland Road did nearly $20M in 2105. That was during massive construction in the area.
