I wouldn't mind seeing 1 or 2 more Midwest breweries expanding distribution out here. I'm hoping for Pipeworks.

Pipeworks would be really sweet. Revolution too. But what ever happen to Half Acres here? One and done deal?

It was either a one time drop for a beer festival I think there was discussion how they had to distribute here or maybe just a once year distribution?

Saw some cans at Wine Country (LB) and Bottlecraft down in SD last year. Oh well.

Almost ironic though. I remember back to the days when East Coast breweries tried like hell to reproduce west coast hop bombs. My how the tables have turned...or something like that.

I just saw something that said they are PLANNING on end of February.

"The next brewery (after LA Ale Works) to open in the South Bay will be Yorkshire Square Breweryin Torrance. While they had hoped to be open by this past summer their target date has been rescheduled to be the end of February. The delay is being caused by the County of Los Angeles, specifically because Yorkshire Square will have a kitchen. As a result, Yorkshire Square will open sans food and deal with the county while they brew beer and at least bring in some income while the county gets it together."

David Walker is in town to launch Firestone Walker distro in Hawaii this week.

Kim Lutz is returning to Maui Brew Co. after 4 years at Saint Archer. Hopefully she brings back that mosaic dipa recipe with her. Haven't seen that one around ever since Stone dropped them from their portfolio.

I'm excited for this place, I think there's a real shortage of these types of breweries in Socal.

I am surprised no one has started a Green Cheek Brewing thread. They are shooting to open by the end of May from what I have read.

Andy was at El Segundo for a little while as well. Not sure if he brewed his own recipes while there though. Stoked to drink his beer again
