Wow, these look great. How many limbs will I have to expect to put up for a bottle?

I'm going to need two legs and an arm. I'll leave you the other so you can still drink beer.

Excited to see what other beers will be on tap at this.

I'm super pumped to be going to the event and excited to see what Shaun brings. One of the nicest guys around so I think it'll be awesome

    Someone has long memory.

But seriously, I think quite a few of us had a similar wondering about Ram when we first started to hear about great beers coming out of there (before knowing who Shaun the brewer even was). I remember a buddy of mine from Nebraska asked me if I head ever heard of Juicy from Ram-Schaumberg. I basically had to reconfirm 3 times he was asking about the right brewery. I then went to Juicy release and that blew me away. Have gone to every release since (when in town). But now I think the reputation is starting to really take hold. I saw a guy from Denmark offering up all kinds of Cantillon lambics for Side Note releases.

There's still a few people that don't know what they are missing with Shaun's releases, but then again 'you don't know what you don't know until you know it'.

Spot on. If you brew it (and brew it damn well) they will come and keep coming and coming and coming...

That is actually a homebrew a buddy of mine did who is from that area, he is friends with Shaun.

Actually got to try Chaos this past week for a preview review that's coming out this week, good stuff.

Names on the tickets are locked in. Persons Id needs to match the ticket.

To clarify, he compared it to Prop '14. Perhaps a side by side will be in order for me at some point. I'll also say that the review is just one palate's opinion of it. Balance to one may not be balanced to another. We'll get to find out for ourselves in a few days.

I see some interesting ISO/FT already for Chaos...most notably FT: Chaos, ISO: KBBS. Wow.

Beat me to the correction. For those of us who count Prop '13 as sacred, this is a big distinction. :stuck_out_tongue: Also sounds more similar to the version of Prop '14 many seem to have had that wasn't very coconut-forward, which isn't my favorite. Still sounds tasty, though.

While trying to trade Chaos for KBBS sounds ludicrous, if you can pull it off, more power to you.

Hate to quote my own post, but was hoping someone from last year's event could chime in on this. TIA

I'm morning session. What time are people planning on getting there? It sounds like there's not much reason to be early. No bottle share (I am actually glad about this), no extra bottles, and sounds like the draft option will be plentiful for the small # of people going.

I wasn't there last year, but it would seem like this year vs. last year is a whole different ballgame for Shaun & RAM. I'd guess they have much more limited release beers to choose from in terms of being available for pours this year as opposed to last.

I'm actually just hoping for some Morning Fog, since I didn't get to have any yet. It seems like they would have that since it was just brewed recently.

I was wondering the same thing, and if we want to take it into a group DM, we could do that. I hadn't planned on getting there too early, but also want to make sure I'm not 200th in line waiting to get in! I'm not planning on drinking much, but want to make sure I get ample time to enjoy my 2 pours, plus a pour or two of anything else that is available in the 3 hour window.
