I got there at around 12:30 and the line was about 5-10 people outside of the door. Not sure how the day started.

Got there at 11:30, I was seventh on line. Probably 20-30 people at opening.

I got there around 1:00 and waited 40 minutes. I will say again, if you go to get cans/bottles, know what you're getting before you're turn to order. People in front of me didn't know the differences between the stouts, staff having to explain each one and waiting on the customer to figure out how many of each to get. Beyond aggravating.

Haha that's exactly what I said would happen.

Or OH could prominently display info for people in line to help inform customers to quicken things, just as they could have opened the garage and had more points of sale. Not sure why the onus is on the customer alone if at all.

I think rather than a cash line, there needs to be a speed line. 45 seconds or so to get your order and be out of the way. If you screw up, back of the line and somebody else might get your beer!

I was in no way saying today was ONLY because of the customers. Points were already previously made about how they had one point of sale, one doing growlers, one doing can & bottle sales/pours. I'm saying it takes no time while you're waiting on line to look on Instagram to see what's being released and make your decision. Yes, I agree OH should have something displayed in the taproom or garage to help customers. But since they don't do that, use what you have to get information, order and get going.

    NO BEER FOR YOU!

No second chances, bruh, you have to leave the premises and come back another day. Haha. I'm not sure I would have made the cut today, and not necessarily through fault of my own. They didn't have a variant out, so Andre had to go to the back looking for it, unbox it, and put them on display. Would I have been disqualified under this arrangement or are there exceptions?

They need to hire the Soup **** to run the line and ordering. No cans for you, come back in one year!!

The original store he used to run on West Side was amazing.

That's the only obvious flaw to me, those times where they are running around looking for one's beer.

The smoothest release to date has still been Like Whoa with 1 beer available!

FYI, I got there at 9:40 last night, told them I was there for bottles, and they let me right in. Couldn't have been nicer.

Earlier in the summer, the 1st Space Diamonds and ACE release (I think Simcoe too) was extremely smooth as well. Surprisingly so, considering the ACE draw.

Yeah, but even then, you had to figure out which color labels you wanted to get your hands on.

Couldn't have been a smoother time on Saturday afternoon, even factoring in the weather. Parked right in front and was back in my car with cans and bottles in under 2 minutes.

I personally enjoyed the Blue label the most, Pink was over-rated.

So that's this Saturday the 14th? I was wondering if last weekend was the anomaly and they'd reset for 2017 and have the next release be the 21st..

Have to assume the 14th I think. They started the trend of 2 cans one weekend, 4 the next. There were 2 last weekend, so you would expect 4 this Saturday. Could be wrong, but I think that is the precedent they were setting.

woof, RIP my wallet. really want that DDH Space Diamonds and I always like buying SGE (or baby diamonds) because I enjoy the lower ABV offerings.
