Agreed. I understand not liking most rap if that's your taste, but not liking Tribe? How is that even possible?

 

Any word on if scotch bb dark app is left?

 

As of 7pm last night there was 78 cases left. We got here at 7:40 and there was no line so I'm assuming there's still plenty left.

I completely agree. My Fiancé and I drove down Friday night and had a great time meeting Elkevjoe and his crew as well as some great food from the Brew Pub. Place was packed and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
It was my first large release party / anniversary party, and I really enjoyed it. Just wishing it was a tad warmer so we could have experienced all the awesome looking trails and parks around Athens.

 

Before anyone asks how much "insert anniversary bottle" is left at Jackie O's. They tweeted the numbers this morning.

 

How much black maple was made? it came out end of oct and is still left

 

With the expansion they are going to continue to produce more and more of these beers. Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more in distro in 2017.

Thanks for the update on case count. Friends and I were planning to go out this coming weekend, but it's looking more like the weekend of the 21st now. Looking forward to my first time.

 

Great weekend out in Athens! Some awesome beers were had on both Friday and Saturday. Beer of the weekend is definitely that Cucumber Ginger Berliner. Holy crap. I need more of that. Jackie O's continues to be one of my favorite places for release. Well done guys!

Couple questions:

(1) Did anyone make it to the lizardville event this week? Curious how the crowds were and what was selling? Seems like it's getting easier to get all these offerings, even minus the events.

(2) What's the next seasonal can coming out? Anything new or will we see morning cloak again?

(3) I am seeing a few places post they are getting oro again, is this a new batch or more bottles from the last round?

Bb dark App 15 were the main ones I can remember with bb oro and v/c dark App being 1 pp

 

Yes, it was relatively calm, especially compared to a brewery release. Maybe not as smooth as it could be, but well run regardless. It is definitely an awesome option to have when you don't want to drive all the way down to Athens in the Winter. Only thing I feel would have made it better would have been some Spirit Beast.

As far as Oro, another batch recently hit (early December/late November)--folks noted a less intense pepper presence and Brad stated he's still trying to dial it in, taking local crop variations into consideration.
