Saw some at liquor world cambridge and can confirm a few left at City Liquors in cambridge for $10.99. Matter fact those guys at City liquor have a bunch of rare gems that most places don't have anymore.

Lasted Friday into Saturday morning at Redstone. Sad to say that at 1045 this a.m. only 1 bottle remained. Glad to say that at 1044 3 bottles remained. Excited to try, and have one to save. Anyone crack one open yet? Worth the bottle limit and fast pace it went away?

I cracked one last Wednesday while watching V for Vendetta and planning my revolution. I thought it was fantastic, nice viscosity, not overly sweet or boozy, really nice sipper.

Much to my surprise, just saw a half dozen of these on the shelf at Pemberton Farms. $12.99 per, no posted limit. I left 4.

I believe fort point market said they were getting another shipment of it this Friday. Rare stuff usually sells out fast there, likely due to all the offices a short walk away.

Way to take all of them...not that I would have known they had any if you hadn't posted. Think there will still be either of those two left tonight?

To follow up on my own post, it seems like they actually have a decent amount left at Pemberton Market, I reserved three bottles myself.

I was just in last night asking if you were getting it. One of the ladies at the front probably passed you a note about my inquiry of MMJ.

There were six, I took two!

They very well may have had more in the back. I think they stagger bringing out the low-quantity stuff so they don't have to post limits but no one cleans them out. The time before last I went in and saw AFAICT only one four pack of Hermit Thrush Party Guy out. I took it, and then a couple of days later there was one more out.

I found a couple of bottles at CBC Framingham. I just really couldn't justify $11 for a 12oz bottle, I thought they were bombers...

I got one the first time it was released, passed on a couple chances to buy more since then. It was quite tasty, but at the price I'm good with having it once.

At that price, for how good it was, I would scoop up as much as I can, that beer was delicious. I havent had anything aside from BCBS that hit distro recently that was anywhere near as good.

I think it is because I have been disappointed by so many BA stouts recently (Sumi Ink, BA Ten Fidy, Darkling) that I got so into this one, because it didnt let me down.

The fact that I can either buy one 12oz bottle of MMJ, or a 4 pack of Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout for the same price is just troubling.

Black chocolate stout is in sixers now. I'd still take the mmj. It's overpriced but it is amazing.

Black Chocolate Stout is also produced on a much larger scale, not contract brewed, and not aged in what have to be very expensive barrels. I know they're both big stouts but in terms of production cost they don't have much in common.
