Everyone makes it like people are pounding beers for hours on end, it is possible to drink responsibly

New Pineal label is pretty freaky.

Does anyone have any kind of insight as to what Jean pays his employees? I'd imagine the servers and bartenders are probably pretty standard, but what about the brewers, guys helping with the canning, managers of the Ferm & BrewCafe, "Executive Chef Bill Braun", etc.

There was a post years ago on their website saying they try to pay a living wage. But that is up to interpretation.... brewing is not a big money job

If this was directed at me...huh? I was just wondering, if I happen to take an afternoon of from work, when I should get there to not have to wait behind chairs.

    Meanwhile, at The Alchemist - they're selling $12.50 4-packs of a 7% rotating IPA.

Well, that would confirm our thoughts. My buddy and I figured they probably pay shit, but feature a few of them on social media enough to maintain an element that makes them seem as if they are part of something cool.

I agree. I understand the overhead is much higher in Ardmore than it is in Vermont but Tired hands does wayyyy more non can sales business than Alchemist. I'm not saying the cans from Alchemist should have equal pricing to cans at tired hands but I think 14-16-18 is more reasonable for the can prices than the current 16-24 range they are in now.

Didn't say that they paid shit. From what was posted he stated they try to pay living wages. I have been going for years and see a lot of the same employees each time. So he must be paying competitively for the positions. The brewers that have moved on have gotten promotions or started their own breweries

Have these prices stopped you from purchasing Tired Hands beers?

    Cheers!

There was some discussion on the number of brewers that have left recently (the past year?). Was there ever a definitive accounting here? Is the number four brewers have left over the past x months?

    Cheers!

Well your comments would confirm you do not personally know anyone that works at Tired Hands. Yet here you are talking about things you have no real knowledge of at all...

I remember the discussion, but don't remember if there was an official count or where they ended up

Tomorrow's release should be a breeze if anyone was thinking of going. I'd go just for some Pineal (which I love) but it's a common release for them and the maple IPA is not "weird" enough to get the Milkshake faithful lining up at dawn.

Here's hoping. I was planning on skipping but the new IPA is intriguing
