Is there usually this many left over tickets. They sent out an offer to ElCat wait list people today to buy the lower quantity.

They say “the waiting is the hardest part,” and when it comes to El Catador Club membership, we wholeheartedly agree. We do everything we can to accommodate new members into each new El Catador Club, but the reality is that we simply cannot make enough beer to fulfill every membership request.

As a “thank you” to those of you who have been patient as we try to expand Club membership, we’re offering Wait List members exclusive access to tickets to the 2017 Hunahpu’s Day Festival taking place on March 11th in Tampa, Florida. Two of three ticket tiers have already sold out but we’re making available a very limited number of four, eight and twelve bottle tickets exclusively to people who are currently (as of 1/101/17) on the El Catador Club Wait List. Boasting unlimited access to rare beer from 120 of the world’s best brewers, Hunahpu’s Day is one of the nation’s premier beer festivals and is the only way to gain access to bottles of Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout. Fine print: The email address with which you’ve entered the El Catador Club lottery MUST match the email address you enter when purchasing your Hunahpu’s Day tickets. Wait List members who have already purchased Hunahpu’s Day tickets may not exchange or refund their current tickets. Wait List members must have entered the Wait List before 1/10/17. Tickets purchased by non-Wait List members will be refunded and email addresses tied to those tickets will be barred from entering the festival. As of now, (1:53 pm Tuesday 1/10/17), NONE of the ticket levels are sold out. Hmm

 

And those differences extend to rent, lease rates and cuts of sales. CCB may be well known in beer circles but that hardly translates to attracting the average Disney guest.

 

You have a point, but it would be a "Florida" (ie cuban) style restaurant with quality beer. I would love for it to come to Orlando. I am not holding my breath. We just need better beer in Orlando. It all kind of sucks.

 

I'm confused as hell by that Cigar City E-Mail to people on The El Cat Wait List...they act like they are making a special offer to them and to be honest flat out lying as all 3 levels are readily available for sale to the General Public online currently and have been been for several weeks...par for the course for anything online/CCB related so I am not surprised

 

By any account it seems they have not sold the number of tickets they wish they had or thought they would. It does seem disingenuous to offer these tickets as something special and exclusive when they've been available to the public for weeks. All about the buck, I suppose.

Yeah wonder what happened to GN? When I saw them on the list I posted on their page saying "see you there" and they gave me a thumbs up. Now, gone. Too bad too as they're one of my favorites in Portland.

 

The Veil, Rare Barrel, Pipeworks, and others have been added. This lineup is looking to be even better than last year's.

 

Yeah I'd say stronger line up so far.

Need to have one tent attract everyone with a whale so I can drink the rest of the beers while everyone snakes in a line for something chase worthy.

 

My plan every year. Hoping for a Heady/FO/Mexican Cake circus tent. Meanwhile I slink off to the Mazurts booth....hey wait a minute, they are not listed! To the cliffs!!

 

They'll be there. I'm in Atlanta and it's the only way I can drink their stuff!!

 

Yeah Mazurt posted on their FB page that they will be there.

 

Heady has been there before? Must have flew under my radar...
