Do we have any idea when their taproom may be opening?

"You could easily include several Hudson Valley-area brewery on this list. Suarez Family Brewery almost immediately became a household name amongst the geeks when they opened last year. And with Industrial Arts being helmed by industry veteran Jeff “Chief” O’Neil, you know they too are destined for greatness. But Hudson Valley Brewery is still a bit off the radar (even if they had my #1 beer of 2016). With the brewery and tasting room set to open any day now—and an onslaught of barrel-aged sours and canned hoppy beers soon to come—the national radar will be homing in on them shortly."

I honestly don't think it's "any day now" - more like a few/several months away.

Pleaaaaaaaaaase. Need to make another trip down to the Poughkeepsie area but I've been waiting on HVB to open before doing so.

The Hudson Valley used to be an easy beer day trip and now you need a whole damn weekend. Industrial Arts, Peekskill, Rushing Duck, Bacchus, Newburgh, Millhouse, Plan Bee, Sloop, Suarez, Crossroads, Honey Hollow and then HVB and Equilibrium opening this year.

Also been hearing good things about Hudson Ale Works and I gotta check out Hudson Brewing as well.

What an embarrassment of brewery riches.

I can't wait for HVB to open either. Hudson Ale Works is way under the radar doing great stuff. Add Yard Owl and Rough Cut to that list. Better make it a week not a weekend.

If I remember correctly Soleil was on tap at Gingerman Last year in May. It was dangerously puckish. But not sure it was conditioned on pineapple and marigold

Went to the taproom last night. First thing, it was difficult to find. We were amongst 3 different groups of people walking around Beacon trying to find it. Needs better markings from the road. So, eventually found our way there. It's a big open space, with barrels of beer stacked up on one end and the fermenting equipment on the other with a bar in the middle. 3 people behind the bar did a good job of keeping a decent sized crowd served in a timely fashion. They had all the beers listed in the post above, plus a Suarez Pale, I think Krispy Little. I should point out I am not really a "sour" guy. That being said, I tried every offering they had and enjoyed them all. Ended up with a full glass of the Make Believe. Cool spot and well done beers for sure. I thought it was a bit pricey: $3.00 for a 4 oz sampler, $9.00 for a 14 oz pour. They offered an in between size too, but I forget the price. If you go, find the parking lot on Churchill street. The brewery is in the building at the far end of that parking lot.
