What's the best bar for after EBF Friday night?

Good answer, and maybe a pizza delivery.

You'll see several events pop up as the fest gets closer. Brewers doing tap takeovers, things like that.

That's what I did. The times I didn't fall asleep immediately, at least.

Think City Tap Boston should be open by then - next to Row 34, also awesome, both beat any of the bars in the immediate vicinity

An Uber or Lyft can get you to The Ginger Man, which I enjoy immensely.

Easy walk from Fest to Ginger Man, 10 minutes.

You must really walk fast when you've had a few! It's closer to a 20 minute walk, but still a good chance to shake off a few of the high ABV samples and get some fresh air.

Maps says .8 miles, I'll up my estimate to 12.5 minutes.
Time flies after the fest samples I guess.

It really depends on where you're staying. Near the park/back bay? Stop into Stoddards on the way. Downtown or seaport, then the suggestions of Row 34/Gingerman/City Tap (a guess since its not open) are the right answers. Cambridge and other spots open up many other possibilities. My only tip: avoid the Tip Tap Room and Bukowskis. Screw those guys and their ridiculous prices.

We tried Row 34 after the Friday night session last year but the line was ridiculously long. Ended up just going back to the hotel and opened a few bottles before passing out.

As previously stated, bed is probably the best option... That notwithstanding I would echo Row 34 although again as previously mentioned it's always packed. 2500 brewers, attendees, and others are all dispersing into the city after the event so a lot of the things close by will get packed quick.

Are there any events confirmed around the city for EBF weekend? I'm not seeing anything posted under "parties" yet.

I'd strongly suggest firing down a burger and some fries before entering the fest. Did this at Charlies in Harvard Sq last year before Ubering over and it definitely helped keep all those high ABV pours from doing too much damage.

I for one would vouch for Saus down near Gov Cebter. It's poutine and sausages

Oh crap. I need to find some vegetarian fare that will do the job for me.
Last time I went to Veggie Galaxy in Cambridge. I don't believe (though I could be mistaken) that there is much in the area thats easy for vegetarians. I know there's a salad place, but I'm not always down for salad. Oh man, wish me luck haha.

(I'll probably just settle on pizza. Never a bad time for pizza.)

There's a Clover not far from South Station now. All veggie menu, used to be just a food truck but has a restaurant in the financial district. Bon Me also opened up on Congress St in Fort Point, they have rice and noodle bowls with tofu and other good veggie dishes. But pizza obviously works too.

Clover has a place in downtown crossing and financial district now. Plus several spots in cambridge

Edit: ^^^Oh yeah bon me is great. Flour probably has some good vegetarian options too
