Love this DIPA as well, one of my favorites!! It seems these days that you could say one IPA tastes similar to another you've had but Superfluid tastes like nothing else - a complete unique flavor profile.....

 

If I was forced to put together a top 5 Shorts beers, Superfluid would probably make the cut.

See that is why this hobby is so much fun. I would put many DIPAs ahead of Superfluid including Short's own Hoptache.

That being said, cheers and here's to hoping Superfluid gets bottled again for all the Superfluid fans

 

If the color's off, just have blind tastings. Problem solved.

Although I am wondering how far off the color had to be to get it yanked from bottling.

 

Not the best picture but the color seemed normal to me. The only strange thing I noticed was an abundance of chunks in the beer, some so large I had to scoop them out with a spoon. But after I did that I lit a marshmallow and drank it and it was great.

 

Where are people getting these bottles, I could care less about the color and have been pumped for this one since I heard about it.

so am i understanding this right?

it was determined after beer was bottled and sent to Imperial that there was some unpleasantness in the final product that made short's reluctant to continue shipments, so some bottles are already out on their way to shelves/on shelves, and other shipments have since been haulted? so if you want to find it you need to call around as it looks unlikely it will be released fully soon? because if time is of the essence and it might be sold out/pulled from shelves, i want to track it down as quickly as possible.

 

I've been looking for past couple weeks at places that always get tons of Short's, but haven't seen it yet.

 

well, to be fair, i think this week would have been the very first that it would be available.

 

@Slay40 picked some up end of December. Usually I'll see Short's releases around here five days to a week after guys on the west side see theirs.

 

I am pretty sure bottle were available somewhere in December. But clearly not many

 

Ill drink it down floaties strange colors and all. Lol

 

I would like to offer up QC assistance to Short's. I am willing to test any bottles of S'more stout for appearance, smell, and taste. I'm offering this service gratis because I'm a nice guy. @ScottatShorts @HopHeadHerman
