I went to my fav local retailer and found these beers:

    Odell Deconstruction
    Odell The Meddler
    Alaskan Baltic Porter 2012

Seeing the 3 shocked me in a good way. Things are definitely picking up in my town.

We still suck here in Utah!

My reasons for not living in Wyoming are equally dwindling...

Wow, the Alaskan Baltic Porter is definitely surprising! One of my favorites!

Yep, of the 3, the Baltic Porter was the top shocker. Next thing you know, Deschutes The Dissident will show up. That would be equally shocking.

Now, we had the Dissident here in Utah.

    Cheers!

Maybe you guys on the Wasatch front had Dissident, those of us out in the hinterlands of Utah are lucky to get the occasional case of Black Butte Porter.

Sorry to hear that Chuck. When the Dissident was here, there weren't that many bottles to be had though.

    Cheers!

I'd move up to the Bighorns or somewhere else up there if there was a job for me. The beer situation isn't that bad up there. Yeah, it's not Denver, but up where my aunt lives, you have Black Tooth Brewery in Sheridan, the new one (Clear Creek) in Buffalo, a couple liquor stores in Sheridan have a decent selection of craft, and Billings is only about two hours away. Yeah, I could definitely survive there and get away from the rat race/traffic of the Front Range.

Oh yeah we get Grand Teton, I may be mistaken, but before they moved over to Victor, ID I'm pretty sure they were in Jackson, WY.

Hey Bill, I'm originally from Casper but now live in Colorado. Still visit during the holidays and a few fly fishing trips each year, usually bring beer with me but what are some good stores if I forget or need to grab a 6pk/bomber? If there's anything you especially want in Boulder I'd be happy to bring it up next trip.

The big 3 in Casper are Poplar Wine & Spirits(where I got the beers I listed), The Liquor Shed, and 2nd St Discount Liquors who have slacking lately. Btw, thanks for the offer...I can't think of anything at the moment.

Yeah, the part of the state that's so bleeding far away. Well, just about everything is.:slight_frown:

Your store manager should be able to get those delivered to their store. If the manager is not receptive? I'd go over his or her head.

I've tried fighting that battle. I travel to Wyoming and Colorado enough for work that I don't have to deal with the crotchety manager out here. I asked why we don't get squatters ipa anymore and she told me that she doesnt feel like ordering it anymore and wont order it just for me.

Very few Cellar Reserve beers make it to Casper for the last few years.
