Must be at Canton. Because my friend was at FP today and you can only get 4-packs.

Didn't really look "ready." With the HVAC coming in just today, probably still ~month away which is what I heard last time I asked someone (late Feb / early March)

I can confirm that Fort Point sells singles -- someone picked them up for me an hour ago.

Yes, no tasting at Trillium Fort Point. Only growlers and cans/bottles. Tasting/drinking at Canton and single cans are a great option at Trillium!

lol I'm imagining how many non-regulars end up buying a 4 pack when they wanted less. Although not the worst thing in the world

Maybe one day but in the short term, please no. The line moves far too slowly as is.

Guess I am in the minority that thinks that noon tomorrow will still have everything. Given the number of releases in the last couple weeks (not just OH, but also Kane, SC, Interboro, Greenpoint, Sand City), I just don't see swarms of people buying case limits of both SD and ACE.

I do agree though on the line, if bottles are available it will be slow as heck.

There was a point in time 3 years or so ago where NYC was a barren desert for great local IPAs, I used to make the trek to Peekskill all of the time. Once that tap room at OH opened summer of 2014, my trips north became few and far between.

I feel the same way about Jersey. Although I do make the occasional trip to OH cuz it's worth it. Almost every beer in my fridge is now a local NJ or NYC beer. And fresh.

Anyone been in the tap room this week to know what's on for fills?

I wish we had a place to keep information about Other Half to answer people's questions. Oh wait..... see post one of this thread !

Untappd best source, look at checkins and usually people post pics of tap board.

In today's world of social media and technology, it is damn sad you have to go and scour Untappd to find out the current tap list for a brewery which has been open for almost 3 years. I don't fault people for asking, the link on Page 1 isn't helpful either, sorry. "Their Beermenus page is also sporadically updated." Last updated 1/2 is about as helpful as their OtherHalfTaproom Insta (last updated 52w ago).

Honestly, people rarely post pics of the board. But I'm never disappointed when I show up blind.

To what degree does knowing the tap list actually impact anybody's desire to go to OH? There will be 3-6 kickass double ipas, 1-3 farmhousey things, 1 or 2 single IPAs, 2 or 3 lighter hoppy or funky beers, a few possible surprises, and most of it will be excellent with reasonably priced pours and growler fills.

I check the tap list before I visit various bars and while I would like to know what's on at OH, knowing what's on wouldn't really affect the decision to go there.

Hell, they could post on Tuesday, "4 cans available this weekend, 1 or 2 will be a DIPA, 1 will be lighter, and 1 or 2 are a surprise." I and many others would still show up to see what's available given how consistently they put out great beer. I'm sure I'll be there two weekends from now even though I currently don't know what beer will be released.

Don't get me wrong, it would be nice to know, but I'm not being damn sad online about it.

/shrug, unhelpful information is marked as unhelpful. I appreciate having a beermenus link there because many beer'cationers to NYC seek out OH first and do well to be introduced to beermenus. One might argue it's immediately learned as useless, but I disagree.

    tldr: what @2Xmd said

TL:grinning:R: They make lots of IPAs. They are good. They will be on tap when you go. So go.

Clearly was not trying to badmouth anyone here, rather justifying the people who ask if any BAs know what's on tap. One thing to ask what kind of growlers they fill, that is very well defined.

As you noted most people on here could care less what's on tap, they want cans or just like to be pleasantly surprised when they get there.

That doesn't make it not sad they (OH) cannot take two minutes a day or every other day to post a pic of the board. It actually might draw more people on off days to get fills if they know they can get say a full of DDH Mylar. Just sayin.
