I was able to pull in to the lot, get a spot, then walk in and not wait in a line. Got a seat at the bar. Had some beers. What the hell is going on?!?!


Side note: the new IPA and Vicissitude is delicious.

 

It's past that time of the month and am now waiting for the (non) fruited barrel-aged saison/wild ale release email hopefully coming soon.

 

Heard some bro's leaving talking about showing up in the morning for a release. Said something about possible noon release and agreed to showing up at 8am. One of the bro's lamented that he had to work the next day. He gets roasted for like 2 seconds and gives up to the peer pressure and says he'll call in.

I was outside waiting for some friends to show up when I heard this conversation. Later that night I asked if a can release was gonna happen today, they laughed and said there wasn't.

 

Aaaannndddd they're off!

 

That is pretty ballsy of them. I really don't think a beer is smarter than Spock.

Took my nephew over late yesterday afternoon, had Foggy on tap which is amazing, missed out on cans so I was curious to taste this batch. Place was packed, it was around 6pm when we were there, lots of Patriots fans watching the game. We filled more Lessons Is Learned for today's Packer party, IMHO one of the better IPAs for fills Henry has done. On another note if anyone thinks Henry and his team are ignoring or don't care what's going on during can release days and the hours leading up to them will be surprised by some changes and actions that are coming very soon from what was shared with me last night. All for the good and thankfully will eliminate about 90 % of this thread.

Stopped in on way home from work. Had a taste of the LiL and a pour of the canned Spock. Filled a 32oz growler with LiL. I thought the LiL was better than Spock. Good to hear.

 

Love LIL too, didn't taste the new Spock since they told me they were really low on Foggy and I really wanted a pour of that.

I'm crossing my fingers that the solution he's considering is returning to making quality Belgian-inspired beers and leaving the haze craze behind forever!
