You can't hang out in Troon, so either plan on eating at the Tavern, which is really nice, or time it to do a Conclave / Referend day.

Cool. It's nice because you can do a flight at the tavern and eat some good food.

 

Next week is perfect for "Troon/Referend day"...Referend is open again on the 21st

For now: I know @beertoro mentioned Threes before, so hopefully he'll head over after OH and capitalize on the Hudson Valley taps: Make Believe....

 

Three's is the next stop. Wife's idea of a good Saturday is both these breweries.

 

Threes rocks. Better in warm weather with the biergarten though. Did you preorder cans?

 

I didn't because I had no idea we'd be here. I have had Vliet before from our last visit. Fortunately, we enjoyed the biergarten last time

 

My buddy went to the threes store yesterday and was able to get cans of there you are, here ya go and the ddh beer that I can't remember. He didn't preorder

 

Cracked open my first DDH Space Diamonds. As it stands right now, DDH All Citra>DDH Space Diamonds...though this could easily change after a week or so. Still a great beer.

Was meeting my aunt in the Bronx 11, she pushed it back to 1 when I was already on the road from Philly...long story short - first time at OH today! Great experience. In line at 11, mixed case in hand by 11:30.

 

Got a case of "mixed greens" 2 each of all, small and diamonds. Was told next week is Nelson IPA and a Mosaic/Motueka double

 

Just went and got a growler of ACE and Space. Cracked the ACE - excellent.

Interesting crowd there. Reminded me of the Saturday night meatpacking crowd when I lived in west village.

Whoever invents a quick counter pressure growler fill system is going to make $$$.

 

Got to OH at 12:50 and just missed SD and ACE. Glad to score some GD, AGE and SGE though. As I was about to leave they put on DDH SD and ACE so got growlers of them. Drinking ACE now and its fucking awesome.

Tried MoGalaxy and it was delicious! Wish I hadnt skipped on tbat release.

 

Had some Motueka+Galaxy last night and holy shit that beer is delicious, finished my night with a Green Diamonds and it totally through my palate off lol

 

I had MoGa in 2016 in cans through a trade, was glad I could get some fresh from the source.

 

Drinking a GD right now and it tastes nothing like GD. It has this candy flavor which is pretty unfavorable. Maybe its just this can but its really not good.
