Ram Brewery Side Note Releases

Of course the one day I go to Schaumburg in 10 years, google a place to eat in the area and Ram pops up. I think to myself "Oh, they have some good beers according to the BA forum, maybe we should pop in there. Then walk up to the door and see the "Chaos Day: Closed Until 6:00" sign.

 

Sweet, another local Dam Builder! Didn't grab the Ukeg, let me know if it's effective. Dying for the day to fill this empty growler! In the meantime I just gotta avoid looking at that shelf in sadness!

 

My buddy and I are trying our best to polish off a growler of Coco-Nilla during the Packers v Cowboys game...were about halfway through it and were both ready to fall asleep!
(We did already finish a growler of Hops on Hops tho!)

 

I got a growler of both too, but I dare not open that CoCo-Nilla without at least 2 people! Even then, it's basically a bomber of 11% imperial stout per person. I'd really like to split it with 4 or 5 people.

Now, that Hops on Hops… I may just take that whole thing down myself.

 

My friends are gonna transfer theirs to 12 oz bottles with caps from a brew store. Given that Side Note has minimal carbonation it might be a good call

 

Just an FYI. Both Hops on Hops and CoCo-Nilla are still pouring strong and they are still filling non RAM growlers.

 

If you haven't had a chance to go for any of the side note releases, then this is your chance to take a growler of side note caliber beer home.

Awesome!!!! I really cannot wait till lil beavers opens and find it pretty awesome that Chad remembers me. So far its been pretty good. I've only had beer in there for a week so im not sure how well it works long term.

Anyone got any info on if coco-nilla will last till tomorrow?

 

Chad is one hell of a solid dude! Met him after I pledged and he just popped a few things with me. I was just blown away by his stuff. Counting the days until he is up and running!

Any updates on pours for today? Would love to just try hops on hops or coco-nilla. (looks like coco-nilla blew)

 

I went at 12:30 today and they still had hops on hops and coconilla.

Thats shady... when I was there last night around 8pm, bartender had a growler under the coco nilla tap that he was pre filling and said it just blew and that was it, offered me the last glass.

 

Yeah what the hell? Seems odd...Well here's hoping both last until tomorrow!

 

Keg probably kicked and bartender wasn't authorized to tap another.
