I believe they announced it on Facebook. It's possible they announced it on all forms of social media, though.

    Toppling Goliath Day 2017!!!!

...and I'm here excited about the opportunity to try some of the Huna variants and limited CCB stuff with the occasional Creature Comforts in between to spark the Athens memories. Guess I'm not pre-Hunahping the right way.

Hoping the CCB tent works similarly to last year, because it was awesome. A tractor trailer with taps from beginning to end of delicious brews I'd never had before. I stood there for half the day: get a pour, get back in one of the many lines at the trailer, repeat.

It put FFF's DLD offerings to absolute shame.

if they are consistent and only allow you to get pours of beers that are in your line I'll like it more. Got annoying that some people got whatever beer they wanted regardless of the line that they were in and others had to choose from their line options.

It's difficult when you can't see what line is for what beer though. You literally had to wait through the line to see what was there as they wouldn't let you walk around due to overcrowding in the exit lanes. I never saw anyone turned away when asking for a brew outside of their lane. I think it kept things running smoothly.

Maybe they can put a second row of signs for beer names at the ends of the lines.

Well I was in the correct line for ABVMZ maybe 20 from the front and go shut out because everyone converged on the front of the line and it was a shit show.

They did better for other timed releases later...they would have security and staff preventing cutters. I know this because I jumped into the line when they started to form a wall.

The crappy thing was some lines wouldn't allow you to get pours from the other end and some did. If you are in arms length of the tap, it should be allowed. If you are going to the other end of the trailer, make them get back in line and give them one of another dozen options to drink while waiting

The free app they had for huna day started what beers were in which line at the ccb truck, with exertion of the special timed releases. It was very easy

    <-- dumb phone user.

Even if I had a smartphone, I probably wouldn't be using it during that time for proper queuing technique. Come to think of it I saw very few attendees with their phones out.

12 bottle tickets are gone. I highly doubt there was a run on 12 bottle tickets leaving 4 & 8. I'd assume they've been converted to the lower amounts, which means more people? I emailed CCB about the exclusive offer to El Cat waiting list members, noting they've been available to the general public for some time. No response

I have a feeling this years Huna Day is going to be a shit show. Last year the crowd was great, not packed plenty of room to walk and sit. I think this year they are going to sell 50% more tickets.

Or maybe they're just transferring tickets from one option to the other w/o increasing the number? They can do the Westbrook thing and hold the unsold Huna to sell it on-site with a vintage price of $70 per bottle.
