or they want to make sure its not multiple batches. seems like fairly standard QC protocol to find out what batch is infected.

Right. I was just saying that they likely made multiple batches of the beer since they asked which batch I had. The previous statement implied that they only made a single batch of the beer.

Ummm....why are you proposing that the list for the society member kickoff event be on the front page?

My bad, was looking for the correct list and jumped on that when I found it. :slight_frown: Realized they don't predict releases any more so they don't not meet expectations that aren't set.

Too late to edit it out now. :flushed:

Does anyone have any insight into the Groupie beer release barrel aging in the Terreux facility? I thought I overheard someone saying it was the same beer brewed by three different local breweries (including Bruery, Modern Times, ???) that will be blended together after aging.

I'm sure I've slaughtered the concept, but I was curious if anyone had any real info...

Saw a barrel listed Groupie with Good Beer co as the other name, also saw a Modern Times one.

I sort of recall one listed with Rare Barrel too

I don't know anything that hasn't already been posted in the 2 posts above, but I can confirm that I also spotted such a barrel at The Bruery.

I opened my M15 last night and it tasted fine. It was the same batch as the others posted. It spend its life in a Michigan basement.

Working on a bottle of Melange 15 right now. Same batch. Stored at cool room temperature. Tastes great. Lots of cocoa and walnut. Goes down smooth for 15% ABV!!!

I may be in the minority, but I had a 2011 bourbonic plague a month ago and was not the biggest fan of it. The bourbon was still overpowering after 5 years. That being said, I would totally try a bruery/cascade collab to compare.

So, nobody has said anything about this, but I'm curious. Those large snifters, are they too large? I've been using mine since I got back home and I end up pouring waaaay more than I realize. It's like having dinner on a serving plate. It's not quite a criticism, I was just curious if anyone felt the same way... verification of feelings and whatnot.

Also, chapped asses must have EVERY adjunct a Bruery beer has ever had in it. Ever.
