Yes! Organic Market in Cleveland Park, DC.

I think I have a pretty decent beer selection here and tend to get in sought after stuff (SingleCut, Prairie, Off Color, etc)

Since not many people know that we sell beer (thanks to the liquor store directly next to us) I don't turn it over as nearly as fast as I would like. I've had SingleCut ERIC More Cowbell! just sitting here for almost 2 weeks because our regular customers don't know what it is.

I'm actually getting transferred to another one of our locations in the coming weeks, with a lot more buying power (as far as the distributors are concerned) so I should be able to pull in even more "rare" releases.

People don't think of our stores as a destination for beer (rightly so, as the section flat out stinks at some of them - due to us buying on a store by store basis) so things don't fly out of here, and I would add my store as a good place to pick stuff up if you're in and around DC.

I say this as an employee, who obviously has his sales monitored, but more so as a beer geek who just wants to sell more beer so he can bring in more cool stuff! Can't bring in more stuff when my shelves are full!

So I came across Scotch BA Abyss in Arlington and Brandy Abyss in DC, but I was curious if anyone ever saw any Brandy in VA or Scotch in DC. The Scotch Abyss was incredible and I'd love to find another bottle if they're around!

Christmas Morning at Whole Foods P Street if you haven't been able to locate it yet. Probably another 8 bottles or so. It rang up at $10.99 a bottle also, so a pretty good bargain.

This seems to happen every year. I always go crazy trying to find Bourbon GBS and Christmas Morning in the weeks leading up to Christmas, then after New Years it's everywhere but i'm not really in the mood for it anymore.

They have both Christmas Morning and Bourbon GBS at Schneider's right now too. Looked like several bottles of each. I totally hear you, btw. I had extra of both of those beers left over from two years ago that I still haven't gotten around to drinking!

Oddly enough there was a bunch at Schneider's today when I was there on my lunch break. Think it was $13 a bottle.

Anyone know when Hopslam or Nugget Nectar are expected to hit in NOVA or DC? I haven't heard anything.

I have noticed an improvement in RAR quality over the last year or so. However, the whole can release thing, every week now it seems, is kind of unnecessary IMO. Would be nice if they up'd their keg distro so we could see more of their draft options locally, instead of having to drive to the brewery for nearly every release.

Much, more cost effective to release cans at the brewery than send draft to distro. For beers with high ingredient cost, can be the difference between making and losing money.
