Noob here, just trying to find out when they usually sell out. More useful if an answer, what time would I have to get in line to typically assure I get some cans. I know it's varied. Just some ballpark answers. Thanks.

 

You very rarely need to be in line before 5 to get cans. During a Milkshake or collaboration release there is an extra long line though and being there before 5 is a good idea and if you're in line before 5 it is extremely likely you'll get cans but the wait can be long.

If you get there by 6 or 7 you will be ok for the majority of releases and some (common IPA's and lagers) even last all night and end up being sold at noon the next day.

 

Always pre-release time if you want the best chance. Anything that is not 'special', though you can show up after 6 and get no prob. I just did that for the one tonight and they still have a good amount left.

 

Still plenty left there. It was actually the custom can holders for Alien Church that intrigued me. Couldn't tell if they were twelve pack or six pack

 

What were the custom can holders? Are you sure it wasn't the boxes for the alien church glass pack?

"Glasses" AKA "Bongs". I would find this more tacky if I hadn't been to Fiddlehead where they sell silicone oil wax concentrate containers with their logo on it. I wonder if the PALCB has an issue with this.

They did, yes, right before I got my cans around 5:30.

 

I am not sure PALCB is concerned with the design of glasses being sold. Anyways, doesn't your contract with Magnify limit the amount of posts you can make outside of their thread?

 

Yeah, I would wonder if that's how they viewed it. I'm not saying they did anything illegal.

Thanks for your concern. I still have a few posts before the lashings start. They are stern, but fair.

 

They ended up selling all 8 of those glasses but from what the IG post said they will probably be making more for those who missed out.

well it's a location so i guess it's their third and the 4th will be the general store

i have no clue what goes on inside the dispensary besides the few pictures that get posted and little tidbits on Instagram... i believe a while back there was talks of hop hands being distro'd etc.... I'm speculating here but I think that was a real idea and if they can brew/can over at the dispensary maybe they still have the plan to distro beer and are going to use the dispensary as more then a location to hold barrels/foeders etc (atm that is what I've seen the dispensary referenced as... spot for foeders/barrels etc)

 

Pretty good line today for the leftover Technicolor Splendor. I think I was 10th in line, by the time the doors opened there had to be at least 40 or so people. I would imagine it sold out shortly after I left.
