Son of a bitch! I havent posted on here in ages, almost been a year I think. Over the last couple of years I have gotten more and more disinterested with the beer scene. Took an enormous step back and just gave up on all chasing, hunting, and depleted my entire cellar. I started going to a local shop and getting whatever happened to be on the shelf and it has kept me content. It really makes you realize that the beer isnt what its all about, it is the people that you share it with. Still remember bombing those filthy Locals and love that this has continued on outside of the SWTFYW crew. Had a tire blow out on my car last weekend, and my New Year resolution was to not go to the liquor store until after my trip to Germany in March, so this came at a great time! You sent a great box including a few favorites from your neck of the woods. I have wanted that Java Cask for quite a while, stoked to finally try it. I love Ourison and didnt event know Strawrison was a thing, I think I gave the bottle a hug. I am gonna go brew a cold brew batch of the coffee so I can start the weekend off right tomorrow! porch is fucked. not to mention i was bent over removing a sock when the doorbell rang....UPS delivery. i'm terrible at being on BeerAdvocate. i'll need to see everyone else's posts but seriously this is fantastical. everything looks great and all new ticks, except the heady topper which is NOT a problem at all. i was just craving this too! A time when i could trade some 6er's of chicaog IPAs for some Heady...times has changed. Anyway, as much as i love my beer, bourbon county's, sours, lambics. my all time go-to beer is an IPA. i'm in love...and thirsty.
