Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately there was no way I could make it today, but will try and get there at opening tomorrow. Hopefully something will be left...

Definitely. Had my first just now. So good. Though the Infinity Plus One was a bit better in IMO.

Damn, wow. The part about this that makes me laugh is that I could easily head to Barrier and have my pick of the litter but I am going to Northport instead. This will probably be to my detriment but I'm not heading there until 11ish.

Corner of scudder and woodbine at this point for those that care.

Off first impression: not entirely thrilled on The Whole Shebang. Very equinox-heavy. Aroma is kind of strange as well. A mix between blue cheese and overripe fruit. I'm hoping this just needs some time to mellow, but I'm not very optimistic about it.

Then again, I've been drinking DDH OH beers since the new year started, so my palette could very well just be shot at this point.

That went pretty smoothly actually. @2Xmd I don't think the collabs will make it another hour, if it's not entirely gone by now, but the Second Wave and Even Mo I can see making it through the afternoon.

Longest I've ever waited for beer before (an hour, then about 30 min to get cans) and all-in-all, I had good people next to me and everyone was pretty respectable of the village. The line, frankly, wasn't as bad as thought it may be.

I had a Whole Shebang, awesome DIPA. Great color, nice taste. I need to have a can and drink it in my house to give it the proper thoughts.

Hope your right, based on reviews I read I went for more Full Monty and passed on Shebang. Reading through Untappd now looks like I made the right call!

Drinking a Full Monty right now. This beer is pretty much imperial Party Crasher. Moderately juicier, mouthfeel a bit fuller, but with a similar bready note. Very nice.

That would be Pile of Crowns. There are drastic differences in the malt bill and hop varietals in Monty and Party Crasher.

I'm only going off of taste, and I see striking resemblances between these two beers.

Not sure if I should be posting in this thread or the LIC thread, but as as Long Islander will post here. Full Monty is very good, not at the levels of Infinity + One greatness, but really solid, very drinkable. Nothing spectacular about it though. A notch below some of the best local beers.

Pretty much my thoughts. So far my favorite beer of today's release is Second Wave.

Full Monty makes me yearn for Infinity + One.

Having rounded out the series just now: I played myself hard. This batch of Even Mo Mofo is incredible. I thought the first batches were good but somewhat overrated, whereas this batch is everything I hoped and wished it could be. Significantly hazier and juicier than previous batches. Kicking myself for only buying one 4-pack of this.

    Even Mo Mofo>Second Wave>Full Monty>Whole Shebang
