Even Mo Mofo is such a well made beer. Didn't get this batch, but have had a lot of it. For a Mosaic beer it is incredibly smooth.

Couldn't make it there today, can anyone let us know if the collab beers are on tap for pours, please?

They were this afternoon, $6 a piece.
I've only had The Whole Shebang on tap and The Full Monty out of the can and, all apologies to @Comparison_Ford , but I'm a big fan of each. Full Monty wins so far. I only got a 4 of 2nd Wave and Even Mo and am giving one each away so I'm probably gonna wait until tomorrow, at least, to try that, but I'm excited considering your post.
I've had both before, love them, but a guy only has so much money, so I maxed on the collabs.

Thank you, Guinness. I'll pop on in Monday after work to tick these two off.

very much concur with this. even mo has never been bad in my opinion but this batch is pretty magical. had the collaborations on tap and was not a fan at all of the sand city version but dig the LIC. both breweries solo beers have been better but a collaboration is a one off fun experiment not trying to make the best beer in the world, so to me this is very good for what it is.

super smooth release...don't know if anyone got shut out, but very mellow non shit show. and for those who hate the sharing on the line that seemed to be at a minimum if even noticeable at all.

also, if any of you bumped into Anthony (who brews for LIC) he was handing out bottles of his side project Root and Branch brewing. it was a fruited berliner and phenomenal.

Ditto. Even Mo Mofo was outstanding. Though Infinity + One still has an edge over it IMO.

Umm...yeah....the new Even Mo is ridiculous. I think all 4 new beers are great, but, yep, Even Mo is the best of the bunch.

Arrived at opening. Maybe 25 people in line when I got there. Virtually no one maxing out. In and out with no issues.

For future reference does SandCity ever give a heads up on releases like today's? I could get out there but having notice a day or two before would be ideal to get to LIRR.

they typically announce weekend releases, but mid week releases have been announced pretty close to open recently

I think the idea of a release like this is to give people who cant come on weekends a chance and also the locals.

Both beers are tasting very good. Guttersnipe is one of their better beers. In my top 5 Sand City beers it probably sits at #5. Worth the purchase.

I rolled in at 5:30, no line, maybe 10 people in there. Drinking Guttersnipe now. Really good, smooth, creamy, easy drinking with a little zing. Nothing spectacular like Infinity plus One, but excellent.
