It def could be. Red Atrial was 26$ That was a blend of two known and very sought after beers. Also had a much more expensive fruit in it (Raspberries X2 as much as peaches).

    That's my line of thinking.

At least $20; remember the last CA collab WW had Ad Idem... hmm nice $40 price tag on that, and people still bought it, although I still think you can get it on the shelf.

I know it's still sitting on the shelf at my local. I think that was largely driven by Lost Abbey though, from what I heard.

After reading through this thread, grabbed the last bottle of "American Sour" at my local. Whoot! And you are correct, Lost Abbey drove that price point.

750 ML and the price was set by Lost Abby. All their sours cost that much. WW had to charge the same price.

On tap it was just 9$ (less than the angels and even some mortes).

Damn, I can't believe there was a store with American Sour on the shelf.

I've seen it at Sam's and a couple other places around the Triangle area throughout the year. Sam's Quik has had bottles of Hitchpost Gueuze on the shelf for a while (last time I looked).

I'd think the RB collab would be at least $20 (same as the Mortes) but if I had to guess I'd go with $22 (same as AoD and Dark Arts)

$23/bottle. Looks like everyone was a little low on this one. I like WW but will probably wait for a taste or for this one to come out at a share.

I love both these breweries and have people wanting it that I trade with, so I'll be grabbing a case.

I bet. It should be a great beer.

I don't trade as much these days, figure if I can make just as good of stuff on the homebrew system, why chase and trade?

You must be a pretty good home brewer. A sour home brewer usually doesn't have luxury of having tons of barrels to blend with. The little I've learned about sour home brewing is it's a crap shoot. My buddy who brews has made 3 so far. Two were good but one was great. The two that were just good would have been improved if he'd had a more acidic batch on hand to blend with. His great one won 3 different home brew contests. The bugs were actuality cultured from old WW barrel pieces.

I don't trade with ppl that always trying to win trades like this place. I'm lucky that I've got people to trade with don't take secondary market value into account. Makes the process much more enjoyable.

I usually stick with non-barreled sours for now, but also go with 'safer' styles, like berliners. Easy to get the right balance of sour, then add fruit. Makes for a very enjoyable brew.
