Thanks for the update, heading up for a ski weekend in 2 weeks not this coming weekend and was trying to figure out if I needed to take an extended lunch break to drop by but it sounds like I can just wait until I leave the mountain.

I'm headed up right now but have my wife and daughter. Any world on the lines today? I should be there around 2:00.

You will have no problem buying all the Alchemist you could ever want, at any time during their open hours.

    Enjoy

Cool. Just worried about the line since I have kids who will be in the car waiting.

Foley brothers is close. Lawson's and alchemist stuff =Waterbury or Montpelier. Foam is brewery only. Hillfarmstead is on tap at worthy burger and few places in Montpelier or Waterbury, bottles are brewery only

Heading to brewery for the first time this coming weekend. Hitting Alchemist on Friday in all likelihood, or late Thursday. In the event I go late Thursday, do cans sell out?

I think you should be ok since it's not a holiday. Keep an eye on their site throughout the week and see if things are going from green to orange.

Just curious, how did this go last Saturday? I'll be there around the same time this week, 2-3pm on Saturday. Thanks.

In and out in about 10 minutes or so. Shared some samples with my wife while in line. Specialty brew was sold out.

Can you clarify? I was thinking about heading up there this week to grab a couple four packs. What about it didn't you like? Thin?

I liked it when it was on tap last Friday for pours. I'm by no means an expert cicerone but I would describe it as a lighter Beelzebub if that helps at all. I thought it was rich and bitter with a hoppy finish.

a possibly useless anecdote: a friend who was with me doesnt who like hoppy beers (whatever...), opted for the pappy porter and wasnt a huge fan due to it being too hoppy to him (I thought it was great).

So its interesting because in the video John explains everything about it that I didn't like as being the defining characteristics he was going for.

Tried it on Friday and was the least overwhelming Alchemist beer I've had by far. As the guy above described, it was a thinner version of beelzebub(which I loved btw).

Yea, can't say I would go for this. To be honest El Hefe didn't do it for me either. Hops and dark malt just don't go together for me.

Love these videos, and the descriptions/stories that follow. I'd be thrilled to throw back a few with Kimmich, seems like a cool cat. The Porter seems right up my alley.

I agree with the video part. Wish more breweries did something like this
