true.. just wish we saw some more TH dark offerings.. i think they have the ability, would be nice for it to be showcased more often

They certainly have come quite a way in that department, so I won't disagree. It will become a more distinct possibility if they have more space.

You're really cherry-picking facts if you say TH doesn't brew stouts because its a low ROI. Just look at all the beer they have in wood and all the time/space that consumes. Those beers have to be way more expensive to brew than imperial stouts are. Jean probably don't brew them often because he doesn't enjoy them, no big mystery or scandal there.

How do you intend to 'vote' here?

    Cheers!

If I try it and I like it and I think it's worth my money, I'll buy it. Haven't had either of these yet though!

Here's another question: if Tired Hands has the hype, the tradeability, the long lines, the long threads (like this one)...

...why don't they have a single beer in the BA Top 250? I'm not saying they shouldn't - I think they should. But a brewery that generates this much noise surely would have generated the ratings to make it on there. Yes, they have so many beers but they also have regulars like Alien Church or High Road that I think anyone could tell you taste better than, say, Hopslam.

Didn't they reformat the ratings a while back to include number of reviews and length of reviews or something? I remember something mixing it up for sure.

Also the margin for ratings is so thin, they have a couple rated high enough to be included on that list but I think the rest goes to my earlier comment. #teamalbinoslug

Because now I am intrigued and waiting for rendering to finish again at work a first glance at the Top 250 and the lowest number of reviews beer is Rare Scoop with just over 100. Tired Hands has maybe 20 beers total that fit that first part of the criteria and then in that grouping only one that could also stand up ratings wise with St. Oner at 4.5.

Chair line is longer today than usual.

News update, it's one bridge needing repair, not a wall so I was able to make it from New Jersey.

So like a little over 300 allotments for Double Birth and Oblivex. I'm not sure what canning 74 cases of HopHands does but ok.

    How was this list calculated?

Lists are generated using a Bayesian estimate that pulls data from millions of BeerAdvocate user reviews and normalizes scores based on the number of reviews for each beer.

    The general statistical formula is:
    weighted rank (WR) = (v ÷ (v+m)) × R + (m ÷ (v+m)) × C

R = average rating for the beer = (Rating)
v = number of reviews for the beer = (votes)
m = minimum number of reviews required to be considered (currently 10)
C = the mean rating across the dataset (currently 3.75)

How many people in line? Do you think a 6:00 arrival will get Oblivex and Double Birth?

How's the line looking (i.e. can I still show up and grab some)?

Plenty of Oblivex and Double Birth as of 6:40. I think it will make it to the bar.

Easiest release I've ever been to. Got there at 4 and was out at 5:30.

Thanks very much. I'm going to stop by for some. Oblivex is tempting since it was so good last time.

DDH Double Birth is absolute fire. The best TH 2x ipa I've had to date.
