Recipes are getting dialed in at a time when their head brewer leaves. Wonder if that will have any impact. I know the new guy is going to be great, but nevertheless

Stopped into the Riip tasting room today, had Brew 102, Hazy Sunday, and Xoconela. All 3 were great, left with two crowlers of Hazy Sunday and their Blonde (Cloudy With a Chance of Blonde).

Most everything was available for growlers today, their crowler prices are $10-11 each.

They also just tapped another hazy IPA today, Sam Bam, after I left. Worth stopping in there for sure.

Sitting here now drinking a Hazy Sunday on a Tuesday afternoon. This is a really good grassy fruity Hazy n juicy bomb. Can you say crowler fill please? Yes. No need to stop by Monks on way home from work for these style when I can stop by Riip on way home. And closer stop than Monks. Man I love Crowlers.

David, stopped in for a crowler of this most excellent pale ale. I'll try the Hazy Sunday next time I'm in. I like that riip is now doing crowlers.

    Cheers,

You need to try Hazy Sunday before it's gone. I'm gonna stop in today and get another crowler. I thought Sam Bam was good too. But that Sunday? IMO.

Hazy Sunday is so delicious. After a while though it gets too sweet. Sam Bam I could drink all day.

Just picked up another crowler of HS. So good. I'll stop in tomorrow for a crowler fill of Sam "I am" Bam!

Newest IPA > PCH Punch on tap & crowler/growler fills. I have a feeling this one will tap out soon.

I will drop by and try this one for sure. I like what rIIp is doing currently. IMHO they still need to dial in the mouth feel and balance on these styled beers but with each release they are getting better, plus I like these two hop varieties a lot.

    Cheers,

Not judging or anything, but I'm curious if you guys have 32 oz growlers and are purchasing crowlers instead of getting your growlers filled.

I like having the crowler option available, but I prefer filling my 32oz growlers almost every time.

It's nice having the option if you're going on a trip, going to a place where glass isn't allowed (though this is remedied by having stainless steel), or if you happen to forget growlers when you leave the crib. I guess I'm trying to understand why someone would choose a crowlers over growlers if they don't fall under the situations I noted above. Again not judging. I just want to understand the rationale.

Not on the hazy side but taste is citrusy and very good imo. I filled 2 crowlers. Keeping one for next Sunday.
