Other Half Brewing January 2017!

Its all in Personal Opinion and Taste, I actually prefer Normal DMD than DDH DMD. Im just trying to get the Other Half Power Rankings Discussion going.

 

I think it going to be shorter than the BUTS release, certainly not as slow moving, but if they have bottles left who knows. Given the number of rumored cases, I think a good amount of people will try and swing by after 11.

 

Can't imagine it will be worse than BUTS. especially with 2 cans only. But It will also depend on case count. If there are 750+ cases of the anniversary that will help as people will feel comfortable showing up later IMO

 

DDH Space Diamonds was great but I would take DDH Mylar bags over anything else.

All great, though.

 

Only grabbed one 4 pack of Mosaic+Motueka but man is it tasty. Pretty much exactly how I like the 8.5% IPAs,light and bright, citrusy, good not thin mouthfeel. Even better when you could just walk up throughout the day to get some

 

Had one last night. So good. This batch is really killer. Major Pineapple Juice.

 

Crossing my fingers 3rd Anniversary goes on tap in the taproom tonight. Would love to scoot down for a taste. Seeing the only place it's on tap right now is Growler's in Tuckahoe, NY. Initial reviews look VERY good.

 

Is case count typically something that gets released?

 

Not always but I think they said they would for this one.

 

145 comments so far compared to 307 total for the initial BUTS posting. I'm really not sure what that tells me exactly though.

 

If one correlates comment count to trade interest/someone get me this, more comments = more people interested = more people in line and showing up. Not perfect, but a quick way to judge interest.

 

I don't doubt that it's a really good beer, but <15 checkins on Untappd are as reliable as CNN/MSNBC's pre-election polls

 

Im with everyone in thinking it will not be as bad as BUTS. BUTS was a double batch and if I remember correctly someone posted here that they bought the last 4 pack at 4:15 that day. If this is indeed a triple batch I dont see any reason why it will not last into the afternoon.

 

I am sure it will be great, but in general people get added euphoria of being one of the firsts to have something which influences ratings.

 

I just ran a regression analysis on Instagram comments versus the time I waited in line using BUTS, Like Whoa, and the last two DDH releases as datapoints and found no correlation.

 

Line will be to Garnet by 7:48am. But anniversary cans will last until 1:17pm.

 

But what time will Mr. Cigar be there to stink up the line?

 

Based on your analysis, did you find any link between credit defaults and number of cases purchased per release?
