Alesmith isn't very heavy handed with their adjuncts

They seem to prefer to let the base beer shine through instead of hiding potential defects with the FOTM adjunct.

That said, Hawaiian had a slew of coconut within the first month, but since it was fresh coconut and not extract it would fall off quickly.

That hawaiian cask on release day though...mmmmmmmmm.

Also BA coconut/vanilla during grand prix and again at the 2016 tap recap.

Stoked for more Speedway variants this year!

Intrigued by the Cans. I like the smaller size.

This, very much interested in the smaller format I can enjoy more regularly.

Price is $7.99 MSRP, sold as singles or by the case, and right now only at Alesmith but slated for distribution shortly.

Price point seemed high but it ends up being ~$0.01 more than the 750mLs at $/oz. Obviously more expensive than say a growler fill, cheaper than a draft pour, and more expensive than a keg.

So you know, close to what almost every other brewery is doing with prices on their beer to go.

But when you take into account how much lighter cans are VS. Glass, much less energy spent per ounce to ship. Also aluminum cans are close to 100% recycleabity which makes cans the greener the greener alt.

This is the warning for the locals and those traveling in soon to stop by Alesmith.

BAVSS is on its last keg inside Anvil & Stave. When that one goes (and it will very very soon) that will be it.

So close to making it 3 months...so close....

Also sounds like there is a lot since they upped the proxy limit.

Can now purchase for yourself and pick up for TWO others, so a total of 3 orders can have your name tagged to pick up.

Which also means that hopefully it will last a while on draft. Yay.

A lot of people will probably be disappointed when they discover that Nibs & Beans SS isn't a vanilla bomb, but I'm really looking forward to bottles of it. BA WH is always nice one to keep a couple bottles on hand, although I'm guessing it will also sit at the gift shop for quite a while.

If ppl really think it would be a nilla bomb then they don't seem to know alesmith. They never over power the base beer with adjuncts.

Is this a new (2017) batch of the BBA Wee Heavy then? Last year they did a Port BA Version, so this would be the first Bourbon BA version since 2015?
