Nice. I could've on Saturday, but I was so hungover from the VIP event I couldn't even stand to be around booze at 11AM lol. My buddy got one, but I got a couple pours Friday night so it's all good. Nice to see they still have it.

Yeah, rolling schedule. Their bottles pop up from time to time, and the special (read: limited since they're all special) ones will have public release dates ahead of time. The growler fills just change when the kegs get kicked as far as I know.

it is! I had some last fall. It is superb (as are all the HF offerings) and Ephraim seems to him me in all the right spots. Sadly, I dont know if I can get there (the Abbey) until Sat though....:slight_frown:

Went down to the Abbey last night for dinner and drinks. The food was great but the Ephraim was spectacular!

Don't forget to stop off in Waterbury for some Heady. If you are staying over, check out the Prohibition Pig, GREAT BEER and really good food.

+1 to stopping off at The Warren Store and Hunger Mountain Coop, check their website, they list the days Lawsons is delivered. Warren Store has a 4 bottle limit on Lawsons/

I'd say time of day has an impact on visitors as much as day of the week. I was there yesterday afternoon and three vans of folks from Craftsbury were there tasting. Not that it was a major inconvenience to hang out for 30 mins waiting to get growlers filled, but if folks are in a hurry, I'd say go closer to noon.

Yeah early afternoon on Wednesday would be my time of choice.

For anyone in the Montpelier area, Hunger Mountain Co-Op currently has a nice supply of HF Clara, Arthur and Grassroots Sankt Hans Amber Saison. Also have a stash of Lawson's Triple Play IPA.

FYI: Not sure if they have more in the back (probably do) but Hunger Mountain only had 2 Triple Plays left in the cooler today at 6pm. They are also limiting Heady Topper purchases to 2x4 packs per customer (same thing the Warren Store is doing) and the Alchemist Cannery is limiting Heady to 2 cases per person today.

Thank God. They can switch back once they've increased production, but I think this is a good alternative to them consistently running out for the whole weekend on Friday or early Saturday morning.

2 cases is a completely reasonable limit, and the prospect of being able to grab a couple 4 packs on a saturday and sunday doesn't hurt either.

How quickly on the delivery days (usually Fridays from what I understand) does Hunger Mtn Coop/ the Warren store sell out of Lawson's stuff?

Depends. I've been to The Warren Store on Saturday early afternoon, and they still have a bunch, but I've also been there Friday afternoon (delivery is Thursday there) and they were completely wiped out.

Depends on the weekend and what else is going on, and luck.

Depends on the weekend... Last week hunger mtn had some left on saturday, but by the time I was there (late afternoon) they were gone. If it's a busy beer weekend in VT they don't last the day

Interesting... Thanks for the help! It sounds like I may have to plan a random weekend rather than one around the Holidays.

we run out of Lawson's/ Heady topper the same day it is delivered. if i get 2 or 3 different lawson's it might last till saturday night/ sunday morning. we do have a 2 bottle limit per sku on the lawsons and a 2 -4pk limit on the heady. it really pays to give us a call before you come to see if we have either in stock. they both arrive on friday mid-morning. good luck
