Thinking Church might make an appearance this week...it's been 6 or so weeks since its last appearance, if memory serves. High Road is also past due...almost 3 months since its last canning.

They posted on instagram that Albino Slug will be this week. I had it at the brew cafe, and thought it was way too sweet. The base seemed to be almost like a milkshake, but I could barely finish a 32oz growler of it.

tiredhandsbrewingDouble Birth is ON TAP today at the @fermentaria! Brewed with oats and wheat. Dry hopped with Equinox and Simcoe, then dry hopped again with a heap of Mosaic powder. What is double dry hopping? 8.0% #dreambeer

    lol

I am guessing that @jmdrpi will be extremely happy to read your post. The 'meaning' of double dry hopping was a topic of great discussion.

    Cheers!

If that's the case have they made beer yet where they reference a throat burning sensation? If not do that one next!

Lol $22 for Albino Slug, gtfo. As long as that's a decent yield on the canning, that should definitely make the bar at that price point.

Would be nice to get some AC though before that's $20/4-pack.

I don't know if I've had Albino Slug. Which of their beers does it compare to?

Yeah @grimey68 was it just like too much fruit sweetness and not balanced or what?

i had slug at the cafe.. thought it was good to ok.. had higher hopes for it... idk too much fruit puree... gets to the realm of you are paying a lot of money for boozy fruit puree.. like a fancy wine cooler or something... the TH froot beers of old.. back when the fruit was hand processed at the cafe and wasn't puree were different.. they still very much seemed like beer with fruit instead of fruit with some beer

    more for you guys

Maybe somebody should start an under/over poll for the date when that occurs?

    Cheers!

Yeah, I understand what they mean - I just still think it's redundant terminology for the reasons I stated before. But at this point, I am fine letting the topic go.

Wow, $22 is a lot. Until they prove to me they can brew large scale fruited beers consistently, I'll pass.
