2016 BCBS Chicago Release (Black Friday & Beyond)

Someone told them that people are willing to pay $10 for the empties of the fancy 16.9oz BCBS bottles, so my guess is that played into their pricing....not sure who propagated that to them, but if anyone is paying $10 for empties, please reach out to me!

 

Are Rares still sitting around?

 

I saw two cases on the floor last Tuesday at Willowbrook Binny's which is an out of the way, suburban location. Not sure about the big, mega-volume Binny's, but I would bet some around the area still have some sitting around.

Amazingly, it seems like it is still in distribution. There's a bottle shop/taproom that opened in town a little over a month ago. They got a case in on Friday, which, at $69.99 per bottle was gone by noon.

 

There were 3 cases left at Lincolnwood Binny's last Friday.

 

Looked like about that much when I was there late yesterday, also.

 

Today at 4pm at Franklin Tap downtown by The Willis Tower. Bottles (onsite consumption only) of 2016 BCBCS and BCBBW are $25 and bottles of 2016 BCBS are $18.

Pic doesn't come through but there are other regular GI offerings on tap. Each GI purchase gets you a raffle ticket to get a 2nd mortgage so you can buy a 2015 Rare at bar prices even though I hear they are still available at some Binnys. Raffle at 7pm.

I'd like to go to raffle off the right to buy my 2015 Rare for what I was charged at Prop Day for it and then go to Binnys and buy one for cheaper...

 

I wonder of this has anything to do with the BCS Variants at $200 they have behind the glass case:

Still sucks that gunfire broke out and someone was shot. Hope they caught the asshole.

 

anybody know of any stores around the Bloomingdale area that still has Regular in stock? Every store that I've visited after using beermenus didn't have any. Looking to pick up 6 for my groomsmen's gifts
