My wife and I have signed up for a guided beercation to Germany in late April. but there are not yet enough people who have signed up for the trip for it to be a 'go.' (If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll send you the details.) Even if the guided trip does not get off the ground, we are going to go ahead and plan our own trip but beer will not be as much of a focus.

This next summer, I would like to get to Central Waters in Amherst, Wisconsin - perhaps when visiting relatives, or maybe on the way to Lambeau or Door County.

i visited one of my best friends from college who now lives in Minneapolis and got to hit up Surly Brewing plus enjoy Surly and Toppling Goliath fresh cans from the store.

amazingly underrated and cool city, I highly recommend Minneapolis. Surly is worth the trip alone. also, their summer weather (i went in August) is amazing, it was 95 in NJ and Minneapolis never reached past 80 while i was there.

this year.... hmm i have friends in CT to hit along the way to Boston. or a good friend in Orlando to enjoy some southern brews. additionally my family is desiring a vacation and I'm usually the planner because my family is boring and hasn't entered the 21st century. California is the hot topic in my family which works for me. great beer and good weed? sign me up

Taking a trip to California in june with my wife and 12 year old. Though its a family vacation i plan to hit Stone, Ballast Point and Russian River. Can't get RR in Chicago so i am looking forward to trying it and thinking about how to ship some home. Any suggestions for other breweries i should hit are appreciated.

Enjoying my last Surly Abrasive now

    Cheers

Do a little research around here and go on your own. Time is really the issue. If you need to move fast and see as much as possible quickly, move around in Bavaria. Make base in Bamberg and take day trips. But you may not leave town.
I'm currently working on a trip to the UK. My wife has never been, so I'll find a way to do tourist and beer-nut combined. Trains early, then a car.

Planning on taking a trip north to Russian River and pick up some beer, I really enjoy their Belgian style beers, distribution is sparse in so Cal.

To Minnesota and the Gunflint Trail. I go up there every Christmas, but I've never hit the summer. Different seasonal beers, plus outdoor patios, plus for time to escape to taprooms.

My wife and I visited California this past summer and visited a number of breweries in the greater-SF area, including Russian River. The next best brewery that we enjoyed is Drake's Barrel House in San Leandro. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/3835/?view=beers The 21st Amendment Brewery was about a half mile away, and another good brewery, Cleophus Quealy, was also close by.

I'm moving to Cape Cod this summer and will be making a few pilgrimages to Trillium, Treehouse, Hill Farmstead and The Alchemist. When I go back to visit my home state of Maine, I will be stocking up on Maine Beer Co and finally trying some of these Bissel Brothers brews that people seem to love. Also planning on getting into home brewing finally, now I that I'll have a house/garage!
