Drinking a 1/5 can. It tastes fine. Tastes like most FL Sue cans I've had.

Let's see...I'm sick and have a root canal coming up soon, so a Wolverine fan gathering here just kinda fits with everything else. That being said, I've met @Chuckdiesel24 in person, and he's really not a bad guy!

To show how crazy this whole draft vs. bottle vs. can discussion of PseudoSue can get, take a look at the TG thread in the Midwest forum. Multiple people in there now say that canned PS is superior to the draft versions over the past few months. So, now we're at bottle (brewed in IA) is better than can (brewed in FL) and can (brewed in FL) is better than draft (brewed in IA)? It feels like this has officially jumped the shark.

Nice to see some fresher PS making its way here...I'd be all about getting some if it weren't for the aforementioned sickness. :slight_frown:

Sorry you're sick, man! Didn't mean to drag you here to see that multiple people from Michigan don't root for the Spartans!

I'm not qualified to comment on this debate since I've only had the cans, but holy shit do I feel like it's unlikely that somehow cans are better than on draft, while being vastly inferior to the bottled version. This is getting ridiculous.

To make this nearly as confusing as the can/bottle/draft PS thing - I'm actually from Ohio...

so it seems the smaller stores got fresher beer while the bigger stores got an older batch. i wonder if that'll be the case moving forward.

I got mine at The Beer Cellar in Glen Ellyn. They posted on social media last night that they sold out.

Damn, really? They initially had around 20+ cases on the floor in their first tweet. Although the hype of getting TG here is still pretty high so I guess I'm not that surprised.

Yeah, there were about 20 cases when they first posted it and it all sold out. They limited it to two 4-packs per person too. I only bought one, and I'm happy I did. I've got fresh Zombie Dust in the fridge and I give that beer the edge over Pseudo Sue.

Give it time. A "good" batch of canned Sue is much better than ZD in my experience.

I was just at Binny's LV and they've got at least 10 cases of 1/5/17 PS batch on the floor.

I think it's a preference thing, but I agree with you. ZD is a little more balanced, but PS is more to my taste.
