as you know from decoy Chef Humme and his musings are an influence of mine. this beer was conceived before that service, but i did have that meal and it was a great example of the kinds of deconstruction games i like to play in the brewery sometimes.
speaking of which peach swisher will make it to EBF as well

Very excited! Orange swisher was one of my all time favorites!

It's not new. It was first released last year I believe. I did see the Instagram photo today but I did notice it was pulled.

In the last 24 hours, I saw posts in various formats for Deli, Cupid and Peach Swisher (the grape last year was damn good). Hopefully after EBF we see these at the brewery on tap / canned

Deli and peach swish. Nice! Cool to see Carton bring some extreme to ebf, wish I was going. Maybe deli and peach can make an appearance in NJ?

If I'm not mistaken they were pouring a couple Swishers on April 20 last year. I might be mistaken . . . I don't remember much from that day

For what it's worth, I have been away for quite a while and the breweries that I grew used to when I was living in AZ make some boring ass beer for the most part. I know (hope?) you guys aren't singling me out because I've always liked it when DFH, Stone or any craft brewery tries something original. It's part of the fun that is craft beer in my opinion. I never really understood the criticism for trying new things. Isn't that what got us here?

Heads up for you South Jersey-iites, I just picked up some Boat from Roger Wilco. They had a couple cases of that and IDIPA (already stocked up when I went to the brewery a couple weeks ago). I love that they aren't disappearing within a couple hours like they used to....

I wasn't singling anyone out. In my post my hope was that people are now more open to embracing "weird" and different beer as long as the taste is there rather than writing it off and NOT hoping that it was the case of being a double standard. I love both Carton and DFH and enjoy trying the stranger beers.

Was thinking about heading there after work. a 4 of Boat would make the trip better. Been stalking their growler menu hoping for an update. Hasn't been one since Tuesday.

I went there on lunch break and it was pretty busy but there will still be a ton left. I bet it'll be a disaster over there this weekend what with the game and all...

I picked up a can of Glasstown The Big Breakfast as well. I've heard good things.

That Glasstown beer is fantastic. You'll enjoy that. Was the Boat out in the open or did you have to provide a secret handshake?

Hah! They are in the walk-in cooler in the far back corner (literally).

There was also a couple of sixers of that Cape May Villanova beer but I passed (I had already exceeded my beer budget)
