    I think that's a good characterization. There are not many BA barleywines of its quality out there, but there are a few that I do like better.

    One of my favorite beers paired with one of my favorite bands. I was lucky enough to see Rage at their first reunion show at Coachella in 06? It was amazing.

    hoperation ivy. I was really hoping for the big grapefruit that I like in modus hoperandi, but got a piney dank ipa instead. Still good though.

    It's quite good. I don't think it's going to get any better, but I'm not absolutely sure of that.

    at the gingerman NYC. just had some hill farmstead holger danske, now some BFM bon-chien zymatore. both excellent. in town meeting with my fiction collaborator to work on the story that will (not) make us household names. fun stuff.

    Sweeterwater IPA is awesome. I've only had the chance to drink it once over a year ago when I got it in a trade. I wish it was distributed all over.

    I don't know how anyone keeps up with the pace that beers are released! I am trying to clear up some space in my fridge and basement for all the beers I will be seeing in the coming weeks!
