No idea - they just alluded to getting cans for the game on Sunday. Could be nothing or something

50 Yard Line would make sense, but I'm thinking something like Trendler Pilsner or Helles Other People.

I guess this explains why the yields were so low this week?

Got to try the Albino Slug. It's delicious! Does all the things I want a TH IPA to do.

I don't think a lager release this weekend would have affected yields for the can release this week. They have talked about separate lagering tanks but who knows maybe?

Yeah that untappd reviews have been pretty good, will have to hunt down.

Anyone still wondering if they'll announce Sunday cans?

I am still wondering. In the meantime I'm excited for more bottles from the dispensary and they just brewed a beer celebrating Dune so I'm an instant fanboy again.

Albino Slug strikes me as a less-sweet milkshake. I think a lot of folks will dig this. Based on the above comments, I'm guessing the canned batch is a different recipe from the OG. This beer has nothing on the milkshakes when it comes to sugar.

Just cracked open my last Eviscerated Pathway, now 1 month old. There's a huge onion taste that I never picked up on when fresh. Anyone else picking up that taste?

I'm very sensitive to the onion hop taste, but have never tasted onion in a TH brew until now. Reading some threads on the topic, the main culprit appears to be using old hops (Citra being a named culprit) or commodity hops. Is Tired Hands buying cheaper hops now? I really hope not. :slight_frown:

Most of the time the onion/garlic tastes that people sometimes complain about (I've never personally picked it up) are mostly tied to specific hop varieties like Summit, Centennial, Simcoe, etc. in the "dank" category.

I taste it in a lot of beers...Summit-hopped especially...but never before in a TH brew. Hopefully it's just a fluke and not tidings of things to come.

I can't speak for their newer releases, but the onion/garlic was prominent in early Veil beers. It wasn't a terrible quality -- as just a bit overwhelming in a few of their cans.

Eviscerated Pathway was definitely better fresh. I had 2 the weekend of the release, then 1 the following weekend, and another the weekend after that. They progressively dropped off with time, IMO.

It was killer fresh, now pretty much a drain pour. Sad!

Glad I'm not going crazy then. I was starting to question my ability to taste.

HopHands cans available behind the bar at Noon. Limit 3. I like the surprise announcement. Might stick around for most of the day.
