I knew I wasn't going crazy. Said right away that I thought they must have tapped a regular Silhouette.

I did tweet at Lift Bridge in regards to the Buster's thing and they responded right away saying they would look into it.

I had the BA Silhouette on Friday and asked about it. The bartender actually went to check and verified it was BA. He did say though that he was told it was last years version and that it had just mellowed.

IDK, I cracked a bottle of last years BA Sil recently and no way it could be mistaken for regular Sil. #notbuyingit

The kegs are clearly labeled differently, have different color printing and different caps. If Buster's is serving non ba as ba, then it isn't their fault. It would have to be a mislabeled keg from the brewery.

All I know is unlike the 2014 nonsense BA darkness or reg darkness debate, BA silhouette is clearly BA or not upon taste.

Can confirm. Delightful. Much more barrel than I expected based on all the whining I've seen about how long it was in the barrel (mostly elsewhere but some here). Not as good as last year's (yeah I know I know), but really nice vanilla whiskey notes complement muted hops and dark fruit.

I'll second that! Great stuff. Barrel is definitely present too, so whiners should can it before trying it lol

Modist's newest beer, Deviation 004, is quite tasty. It's a Mexican chocolate stout. Sort of reminds me of Abraxas mini at 6.7%

They still have Deviation 2 on? I know plans are to turn that into a full-time production but I think one of the bartenders said it'll be off for a little bit.

They do have 002 on, but it's now under the name Dreamyard. Was on tap as of Saturday.

My understanding is that Deviation 2 with a few tweaks became DREAMYARD, which is on tap.
