Short's Double Huma Aww Jeah update

This sounds so good! Decisions decisions!

 

300 cases have been produced. We are discussing a limit on amount of cases that can be bought. The number floating around is 3.

 

It will all depend on the amount of people that show up.

My local is getting Bourbon Huma on tap! Who's had it? Is that a weird concept---aged IPA with Bourbon? Aww Jeah. Am I stoked to try it? Aww Jeah. If Short's is anything, it's weird and occasionally incredible, esp. in the IPA department.

 

In general, not a big fan of the combination of IPA and bourbon, however, I have had this at the pub. I think it's the best bourbon IPA that I've had.

 

Do you anticipate many people showing up before your doors open? If so, do you know how the town is going to handle it? There seems to be quite the anticipation for your anniversary (and rightly so), and coming off the KBS fiasco, I'm hoping this one doesn't grow out of control.

 

We'll just have to wait and see, psykosis!

And, on a completely unrelated note, I wish you and everyone else at Shorts good luck with the Beck's Mustard location. I hope the city decides to open it for sale, and Shorts is able to pick it up. That's my hometown, and I think that would be a huge boost for the town and it's economy. I'm watching that with great interest.
