The group of classy folk who were nearing NW 2nd Avenue from 24th simply left two dozen bottles on the sidewalk certainly didn't do anyone any favors.

Do you expect anything else from this 'new' and 'trendy' beer crowd?

That's a shame. The release was really laid back and run well. There's always a group to ruin it for everyone else. (see hunahpu thread)

    PB&J Crime/'14 BBA Mexican Cake/DDG is a great start

Will be heading down with some buddies from Pittsburgh for Wakefest. Any recommendations on restaurants around Wynwood/Little Havana?

If you're in Wynwood you have to eat at Kush.

Vero (downtown Miami), Kush/Lokal (owned by same people), Taqueria Viva Mexico (Little Havana), Lagniappe, Beaker & Gray (for happy hour)

edit: have tons more recommendations too depending on what you're looking for. Feel free to PM me

I'm going to echo Kush. It's pricey...but goddamn, they have some awesome burgers.

I second that Taqueria Vivia Mexico in Little Havana.. Also Lung Yai Thai in Little Havana. Arguably best Thai in Miami. Also a new craft beer gem around the corner in Little Havana, Union Beer Store, its a Bar and Bottle Shop. Cheers.

If you know anything about Wakefield you would not think this is strange.

Alter just up the block from the brewery is one of the best restaurants in the country right now. Hopefully pulling in their much deserved James Beard award for 2017. Kyu is also nearby and superb (ex GM and ex chef from Zuma head it up). Niu kitchen in downtown is also a great lesser-known spot. Good beer places have already been suggested so not much to add there.

If you're in town and heading outside of the area (Miami Beach, Coral Gables, North Miami) I'd have a laundry list of the best bars and restaurants to share

Facebook will automatically make changes to event pages and business listings at times. I know because I have one. I don't know why the original event page was removed, but it is back online and working fine now.
