They already went from 2 to 12. It's just that there's too many people going.

It's funny when a brewery tries to play it safe and then can't keep up with demand while others go all out and have more supply than customers.

Like my mother used to say about real estate and this especially applies to Twin Elephant.. "Location, location, location"

Lineup look awesome for this weekend including a new IPA.
    ---------

    From Instagram:

True Believers - New 7% American IPA DDH to the hilt with Mosaic, Citra, and Simcoe. This one is a real crusher.

So this weekend is for all you lupulin fiends out there because we did a little experiment brewing several more hop forward beers in a row. So for a short window we will have depth of variety within a style or two but not across several.

Shimmy Ye' - 8.1% American IPA heavier on the oats and DDH with Simcoe, CTZ & Centennial

Shifty Dibs (formerly Trop Hop) - 6.2% American IPA with a unique yeast strain and DDH with Citra & Mandarina Bavaria

Chingas - 7.1% Black IPA DDH with Mosaic & Simcoe

Biggenz - 7.6% No Coast IPA DDH with Centennial & Citra

Kettle Down Now - 5.9% Kettle Sour DDH this time around with Riwaka we got from @victorybeer collab with our boy @hungusbrews

Any idea on growler fills on true believers or shimmy ye?

not yet they will probably post / email it tomorrow... if they do have them, my guess it would be the first few hours Friday night only... I'm thinking a line up as solid as this is going to put them in a hole again...

Bring both a 32 and a 64 and get there as close to 4 pm as you can. I suspect the True Believers, Shimmy Ye and Shifty Dibs will be pint only by 7 PM.

Ah yeah that's not happening. My cousin lives in Morristown town but will be in my area Saturday. He was going to stop before he heads down. Didn't think it would last that long.

they keep their website pretty well up to date with fills vs no-fills, so I would still check on Saturday rather than assume it's cut-off...

Here is what their doing this weekend
The growler fill allocations for this weekend will be starting off on Friday at 4pm there will be:

Shifty Dibs - 32 ounce only fills on a single 1/6 keg
Shimmy Ye' - 32 ounce only fills on a single 1/6 keg
True Believers - 32 ounce only fills on a single 1/2 keg
Kettle Down Now: Riwaka - 32 or 64 ounce fills available

The first three options will go quickly and we will reasses the situation before we open on Saturday and post whether or not any fills will be available. Odds are this will be a Friday only fills weekend.
    I'm getting there a bit past 4PM.

wow, good chance I won't be home before some of those are shut down.... well, at a minimum will stop by to try them for sure. I suspect they are going to get crushed again this weekend. And with only 6 beers on tap - 3-4 of which will be in high demand - it's gonna go fast. Blessing and a curse for them...

True Believers was great, Shifty Dibs was great, and Kettle Down Now was utterly fantastic.

Their NE copycat wasn't very good, same with Biggenz, but hey three great beers for a young brewery is a good hit ratio. They have a new fan in me.

Agree shifty dibs and true believers were very solid.. for me, they have yet to replicate that first batch of Trop Hop (renamed to Shifty Dibs), but this was still very good. I also really liked Chingas and thought it was better than the last batch - really nice balance of roasty malt to pungent hops.

surprised you didn't like Shimmy Ye' as much as the others... I thought it was the best batch of it so far, and as good or better than some of the others, but could be a style preference. However, I still prefer Lil' Shimmy Ye' over Shimmy Ye

looking forward to getting back to a wider variety of styles though. They always make solid wit biers and its been a while, so hope one is in the works.

Looks like another strong weekend at Twin Elephant

Time2Shine - 6.0% American Pale Ale DDH with El Dorado, Simcoe, and Riwaka. Dank nuggets to please your palates! Also finally freshies of the American Pale Ale Lil' Shimmy Ye' in the house with plenty of growler fills available. No cans this round but the batch we are brewing this weekend is destined for aluminum. Lastly we got a new version of Set The Vector one of the hoppy Saison series we do this time DDH with Azacca, Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, and Mandarina Bavaria.

Stopped by today for the first time. Really nice space. Good beer too. Their two new beers were delicious, the Kettle Down Now sour and Time2Shine apa (even though the wife liked Lil Shimmy better).

Stopped by for the first time yesterday also. Cool space, nice staff, and good beer. Really enjoyed the funk in Stay The Vector. Deserted Village was nice - one of the more well balanced mint stouts I've had. Lil' Shimmy and Time2Shine were both solid as well. Proper Quaff seemed well-made, but didn't do it for me.

Here now and place is jammed. Hazy Shade of Citra is solid but Lil Shimmy Ye is far better. Drawing is solid.

It's calmed down in past 30 mins. No fills except for diamonds and pearls though. I wouldn't write it off but depends how far a trip. Im like 5 blocks away so a bad judge. Lol.
