Hi All, I'm looking through the older threads on PAA and it looks like they used to have short hours, only a couple days a week and a weird beer law for ABV. Does any of this apply anymore? I'm driving through from Iowa to Dallas next month and thought I'd scope out PAA. I just want to make sure I go to the right place at the right time.
Currently, they're only open at the "new" shop in Tulsa. It's called a BrewPub where they also have a full restaurant as well? It looks like they also have a handful of PAA taps and some guest taps too. (Yellow belly? Really? ) Anything else I need to know? I have 2 kids. Are they allowed during lunch hours? I assume they are...
    Thanks!

PAA is no longer at the site in west Tulsa. Chase Healey doesn't have much of an affiliation with them anymore and he does he new project, American Solera, at the brewery in west Tulsa. The PAA brewery is now solely in Krebs, which is close to McAlester.

Chase does some brewing with them at the Brewpub downtown though, but all those beers will be 4%, but they have other good high abv Prairie options.

I would definitely check out American Solera though, you can purchase any of their beers on site, as the stupid laws changed last year. I would look on Facbook to see the hours and what they are offering that day, but i believe the hours are:
    Wednesday // 5-8 p.m.
    Thursday // 5-8 p.m.
    Friday // 4-9 p.m.
    Saturday // 12-6 p.m.

Kids will also be welcome at both the BrewPub (really it is just a restaurant) and at American Solera.

If you are looking to break the trip up, Tulsa is a good place to do it. I go up there a couple of times a year, usually during the middle of the week and thru LMT Club I get a pretty good rate at they Hyatt. Places to hit there within walking distance are Prairie and James E. McNellie's Pub, plus a ton of other places. Both are kid friendly and it is a pretty cool place to walk around at night. Enjoy your stay

Last time I was at Solera, which wasn't long ago, Kids werent allowed inside the brewery. Did something change? Would be great if it did.

I could have sworn they have always been allowed. On their Facebook page, someone asked them on January 28th if kids were still allowed in the tap room and they responded yes.

I'm pretty sure kids are still not allowed inside the taproom, or on the premises, even with the liquor law changes. I know Twisted Spike, COOP, Anthem, RoughTail, and Elk Valley still don't allow anyone under 21 in their taprooms, and I can't imagine that it would be different for 1 brewery.

Not sure of the law, but I don't see why they would say kids are allowed in the taproom, on their Facebook page, if it was not true....

Unless the taproom is in an entirely separate/different building from the brew house, that's the only way I could imagine them having kids in the taproom. I've seen people carded every time I've been to any of the breweries/taprooms I listed above.

Again, I'm not sure of the law, but they have said kids are welcome at the taproom...I do believe the taproom is an entirely different building from the brewery though.

I believe Don's was reffering to Mcnellies & Prairie Brewpub; but would not presume to speak for him. Those 2 places are kid permissible...

Was at American Solera today. Didn't see any kids either in the building or outside.
