Do they use the same cherry syrup in their Cherise?

I'll really miss it!!! Honestly, I bought 4 cases last Oct. (John Russo, GR, MI) and I'm down to two bottles. It ages beautifully in a cool MI basement. It is a totally unique blend of stout roast flavors, sour, and fruit. Also, it appears to be the least filtered of Bell's brews. I love the "sludge" at the bottom of the bottle!

    No, I don't own stock in Bell's! :-)

Picked up the last 6er at a random store in the Chicago burbs. I liked it on tap. Tasted almost barrel-aged. Don't get the dislike

Noooo. I love cherry stouts, as the mix of roasty-toasty and sour-sweet is fantastic. If anyone can find some of this from last year, I'd love to trade for it.

Will miss! Like someone said up there, definitely good for dessert and the combo of roast, sweet, and sour is an awesome mash-up.

After seeing this I was lucky enough to find a 6 pack from last year that still tastes great, I definitely respect them for not compromising on the recipe this year, really a good character move IMO

Disappointing because I loved this brew, but its good to see breweries with dedication to quality. Like DFH dumping $500,000 of 120 Min because it tastes weird. Personally, its nice to see for me.

Out of Bell's seasonal stouts though this is #2 for me, so it does suck. At least we'll still get Expedition.

Expedition is already here. Still needs some time to mellow out though IMO.
