As someone from STL who has Narrow Gauge around the corner, and has had Treehouse & Trillium plenty of times, I have to say King Citra is my favorite IPA

Don't say that! I missed the King Citra release due to schoolwork...

More seriously, though, what made you like it so much?

I've bought at least 1 growler of the last 3 releases of King Citra. It's basically just delicious to drink. Great citra aromatics solid malt and the haze gives it a softness and extra dimension.

I thought this last batch of King Citra was very good as well. Enjoyed several cans this weekend.

On a side note. They released some extra cans of Tundra Triple IPA. There are still a few at the Sacramento tap room.

Tundra won a Bronze Medal at the Bistro Double/Triple IPA awards on Saturday to kick off the SF Beer Week. http://brookstonbeerbulletin.com/bistro-double-ipa-winners-2017/

    They judged 37 Triple IPAs.

Do the cans typically sell out same day? Do you need to be in line before the open? I'll be in SF next month and wanted to get some cans if anything is being released while I'm there, mostly interested in IPAs. I could possibly bring some Aslin cans for IP trade.

The releases typically don't require lining up in advance. Some have lower can counts than others but as long as you arrive in the afternoon, you won't have problems. If your stay doesn't coincide with a release, let me know as my proximity to the Berkeley location enables me to attend most releases.

As GrSq mentioned above. Usually the cans will sell out by the end of the day so you are good in the afternoon. Next day is iffy. On this last big weekend release (5 different cans) there were still a few Tundra Tipa and Pulp ipa cans on Monday. The 2 BBA and the Chocolate Cake Stout were gone day of release.

Fieldwork Can releases very quite a bit on time in between and how many they produce. No set schedule at all.

But they have to go Crowlers, so you will be able to take home a few IPAs regardless. They usually have between 3 to 6 different IPAs on for fills at all times. The tap list at Berkeley is updated daily on this page: http://fieldworkbrewing.com/berkeley/

More cans this weekend as SF Beer week continues.

Thursday 2/16: Galaxy Juice NE IPA
Friday 2/17: Party Cove Sour Ale and Coconut Double IPA

Not sure if my wallet can handle it after last weekend...haha... Galaxy Juice is a favorite though...

Also FYI, the Instagram comments mentioned they have held back on 500 cans. They will be released on 2/18 for "Second Chance Saturday" in Berkeley.

I haven't even opened up any of my Pulp cans yet and they release Galaxy Juice! I wish these releases were more staggered.

If I adopted the "Cs get degrees" approach, drinking cans would take higher priority. Sadly, I have to miss out on most of the fun.

I cracked open my first Pulp last night - it reminded me why I love that beer. Huge tropical fruit upfront and a killer bitterness on the back-end. Hopefully the Galaxy Juice cans stick around until the evening, I'm going to try and stop by before I head over to the Trillium event at Rare Barrel.

I still haven't opened my Galaxy Juice and Orchard Street cans from the last release. There's just too much beer coming out!!!
