Has anyone picked up the Fat Head's collab "Confidentiality and Disclosure"? Is it worth going out of your way for?

Wow I didn't even know about that. 2 award winning breweries both known for heavy but well regarded levels of hopping clean IPAs coming together on the style? Would love to try it.

They had some at Binny's around town yesterday. Picked one up. Plan on drinking it tonight.

I just saw it's on draft at Monk's Pub downtown. $7 for a 16oz draft. I'll grab one before my train home tonight and report back if anyone is interested.

I split a "Confidentiality and Disclosure" last night with a friend. We were both very unimpressed. It wasn't hoppy, not real bitter, just kinda meh. And I am a big FFF fan. Not awful, but not as good as any other FFF IPA.
Maybe it didn't seem so good because we had a Julius and a Haze right before. Perhaps we would have liked it if we had it first. I can only wonder...

I thought it was quite good. Definitely has the rye/spicyness to it. Very piney with a bit of citrus on the back end. While I'm
happy to have had it I don't think I need to stock up.

I can see that as both those beers are hop bombs and would taint your palate for another IPA. I found it to have plenty of hops. Not overtly hoppy but enough for me. I had it on draft though and can't speak for the bottles.

I had a Confidentiality and Disclosure the other day. It's a fairly basic IPA and nothing really stood out to me. It's solid and I can see trying it once, but I personally wouldn't go out of my way to find it.

For $8 at the 3 Floyds kiosk, it's fine. I don't know how much it is marked up in distro, but once you add tax, I would imagine you are in the $11 range. At that point, I would rather get a Sue 4pk for the same price and 3 times the beer (and better format for me drinking solo). Just my opinion though.

It's pretty nice. Worth getting. Wouldn't trade for it. But wouldn't pass it up if it's on your shelf

I had one a few days ago and thought it was solid. Good representation of both breweries. Liked it more than some of Floyds recent fare.

I love FFF, but couldn't defend this beer. Maybe blame it on Fat Heads? :grinning: Drained poured 2nd glass. Tough to get though this beer. Was like drinking pine sap, didn't get any of the self proclaimed mango flavor. Very hip abrasive.

I agree with this assessment. Nothing fancy about it but not bad either. I thought it had some familiar 3Floyd bitter flavors as well. No one will confuse this for a juicy NE style IPA, that's for sure!

Thread jacking a bit... .wondering from anyone who's been to the Brewpub lately should I expect much if any of a wait for 2 people to grab lunch and some beers on a Saturday around noon? Thanks in advance.

Every time I've gone on a Saturday afternoon, it's been at least a half hour wait to get in the door.

I think Saturday at noon is probably going to be the peak hour of the entire week....Still, it's worth the wait.

They open at 11 so why not just go when they open? You'll get in quickly.

I go every couple months. Two people in a party may way 30 minutes. Or if two bar seats happen to be open then you may walk right in.

I've been at least 20 times on different days and hours. Saturday at noon isnt a big concern for two people. The wait moves quicker than what they tell you usually.

Easiest way is to go solo and get a spot right at the bar

    Best of luck.

What's FFF's strategy for releases? Is it silent or do they announce dates on FB, Twitter, or Instagram? Is there a typical day of the week and/or time that the releases occur?

If they do post a release on social media, it's usually right as something becomes available. Typically they don't announce any upcoming releases, so your best bet would probably be to check this thread, or the Beers To Go section on their website
